Safe Sex or Bareback

So who here practices safe sex and who goes bareback?

For those who bareback do you risk with one night stands?

For those to like to risk it what is the worst thing you done which could have potentially got you a STI?

Unless I am in a committed long-term relationship safe sex is the only way. If I’m not sex is off the table in anycase so it’s always safe sex.

When I was a lot younger and a lot more carefree (and reckless) I had a couple without condoms. Though never with anyone I’d met the same night

@MaxPower there are a few topics here on this, do a quick search and I’m sure you will find a few. Good luck.

I’m a big worry wart about health, safety in all ways, not just unsafe sex.

To each their own of course but I’ve never smoked anything ever, never done any drugs. I didn’t get drunk for the first time in my life until a couple of years after my divorce at 38 years old.

That doesn’t mean I never drank, I just never drank a lot and never came close to becoming drunk, until after my divorce that is.

I don’t/won’t take a sip of a drink of any kind from a friend, like drinking from their drink from their straw or even taking a sip from their glass from another side of the glass.

It’s just not me. I don’t get to say what others can and should do, only myself. To each their own.

Not having safe sex would make my skin crawl.

Put it this way, from a legal age on with my gf, who became my fiancee and my 1st wife, she and I never had sex without a condom or her being on the pill until we tried for a child when we were both 28 years old. That was the first time I ever had sex “raw” with her, when we were both 28 years old and trying for a child and she and I had been married to each other since just before we turned 22.

That wasn’t for safe sex with her of course, we simply didn’t want and weren’t ready for a child then.
Heck, I don’t want to step on old cigarette butts on the sidewalk in my shoe, I avoid them.

Weird? Definitely, but it’s me. I don’t judge others, but I stay true to myself.

If any of the so-called most beautiful women in the world said they wanted to have sex with me but no condoms were allowed, I’d not be having sex with them.

I wouldn’t anyway as I’m married, but you all get my larger point I’m getting at.

In many ways, I’m straight laced, but not in all ways and things have loosened up as the years and decades have gone by for sure.

I don’t ever see having unsafe sex as being something I’d ever do (if I were somehow no longer to be married, which I hope never happens).

I never put down or judge others for doing things I wouldn’t do though. We’re all individuals and we get to choose for ourselves.

Why would you put your health at risk with bareback on a casual encounter??

I don’t do casual relationships so… it’s either full commitment with all fhat goes with, or not at all. If my husband tried to impose condom use on my other relationships after a recent clean test, and assuming we were committed to one another, I’d impose condom use on him out of fairness.

In my younger, wilder days, whilst not in relationships I did have a couple of laspes of sense, and unprotected sex. Got tested both times and luckily all clear. The waiting for the results was scary. I would never consider doing it again. When I met Mrs Balls 22 years ago it was condoms until we had both been tested. Also I had had a Vasectomy so we checked for that aswell. Happy Fucking everyone, but stay safe!!

Speaking as my single self now if I was going to start dating again I wouldn’t be stupid enough to not be carrying around condoms. But then I wouldn’t be picking up random people that’s not my dating style.

When i was single but in long term relationships always condoms. Never gave bjs to anyone before i got married but if i had again i would have insisted on a condom. Never had a one night stand or a relationship where there would have been sex after a short dating period. My philosophy was if they cant wait three months then they are not right for me. So i have never had an std as i didnt play russian roulette with my health.
When i got married started on the pill but they gave me severe migraines so had to go back to condoms. Only started to have sex without condoms two years after my periods stopped.

If a pill causes you migraines it’s likely wasn’t the right pill for you. I was on Cerazette, it gave me awful spotting, acne breakouts and horrific mood swings. I’m now on Noriday with no problems at all.

I just come off them. I was not offered an alternative as it was nearly 40 years ago. Never liked taking drugs anyway so it was not a problem. Hubby always came too quickly when bareback so condoms helped him last longer.

Me and my husband, we get regular std testing with our partners or new partners, so we can bareback. I have a breeding/cum fetish and he enjoys fucking me after another guy cums in me

I’m in a long term monogamous relationship so we don’t use protection but I have long term birth control because I don’t want any more crotch goblins.

Sexterminatrix and I have always been bareback but if I were single (or we had 3rd) I wouldn’t take the risk without a current test result.

In my younger years I absolutely took some stupid risks, which looking back if I could intervene now I’d tell 18 year old me to stop being such an idiot.

With my wife, we never used to use condoms, but after having our first child she (and we) decided that hormonal birth control just wasn’t great for her so she came off it all together and between having our first and trying for our 2nd we were using condoms. We’re got a toddler and a baby now, so it’s back to condoms again for the time being but I’m booked in for a vasectomy.

There was only once that I had sex with someone without a condom that I didn’t know, and ended up catastrophising for weeks until I could get a full suite of STD tests. After that I never had sex without a condom unless it was someone I knew was tested and was having more than just a fling with.

Not me but my younger sister, dont think she has used condoms but she has had what she thought was exclusive relationships but turned out not to be. Her first relationship she ended up in hospital with a womb infection because her partner was not as clean as he should be down there. She also got herpes as her then partner was cheating on her with a transgender woman and various others. She still has outbreaks as it is with you for life.
She then got throat cancer from catching hpv through giving a bj to a partner (what also causes cervical cancer in women) and had to go through life changing surgery she was lucky to survive one of my hubbys work colleagues who had the same was not so lucky and after a three year battle and two rounds of chemo died recently.
So yes safe sex is important and its not just catching annoying things that can be got rid of by taking antibiotics.
