Sex toys for beginners recommendations

I recently ordered the rose clitoral suction stimulator and am excited to try it out! Was looking for any other recommendations of sex toys. Thoughts on the rose clitoral suction simulator or any other recommendations for toys

I just ordered an 11 piece couples weekend toy kit from LoveHoney and I’m excited for my 13th anniversary in a month to spring it on my wife. We have had play time much he last 30 months due to my being in cancer treatment. I have my 24th 3.5 hr infusion ten days before our anniversary so I’m wrapping up 13 gifts for her to open till our anniversary from that many nights prior to the day but she or we can’t play with them till the day! In the hotel.

I’ve just put in my first sex toy order the other day! VERY excited. I bought a dildo and a bullet (and some cock rings for down the track when OH gets on board hopefully). I got the bullet because I felt it was a good starting point just to test the waters with the vibrators and if I like it I’ll level up to a wand and a rabbit. The clit suction I’m so dubious about, I definitely want to try it though so please let us know how you go!

I quite like the rose for gentle suction, it’s not my favourite, but I do reach for it when my go-to isn’t charged.

The only thing I didn’t like were the patterns, I don’t get a lot of stimulation from them, but the range of power levels in the rose were ok, I more used the stronger ones, which translates to less charge :smiling_face_with_tear:

I did have a review of it here when I was testing it, if you wanted to read a little more in-depth.

Recommendations for toys all depends on what you’re looking for. External stimulation, internal stimulation, both? There’s definitely a ton of users who’ll be able to help you out with some recommendations.

Hi @senokawi !

I haven’t tried the rose, but I did buy myself a suction toy recently - https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/offers/lovehoney-toys/p/lovehoney-clitoral-suction-stimulator/84887.html - as it was on offer. I found it a little difficult to use because of button placement, and it’s too bulky for use during missionary.

At the same time I bought https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/p/fifty-shades-of-grey-greedy-girl-mini-rabbit-vibrator/74951.html (now out of stock but there’s a LH one in pink/purple that’s very similar) to replace an older bullet style vibe. I really like this, but with any toy with bunny ears it’s sometimes hard to get them in the right place!

My most recent purchase is https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/p/mantric-rechargeable-remote-control-knicker-vibrator/80289.html - I’m really enjoying this. It’s great for solo play, the remote makes it fun for couples and it’s slim enough to use during sex. Or at least I hope so, I’ll be trying it out later this weekend!

However, what I really want - and hopefully some of our fellow LHers can advise - is a handsfree vibe targeting g-spot and clit, something like https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/p/lovehoney-mon-ami-wearable-couples-massager/85107.html that I can wear for solo play as well as with my partner.

Hope you find something you like!

Hope you have a great anniversary @mikesalion and you stay well

I think you have done the right thing, if these will be your first toys, the bullet is a great starter toy and an inexpensive dildo will be good. The clit toys do get great reviews, like the womanizer range but are more expensive, look out for the offers as and when they come up. Let us know how you get on with your order @DevilishDan

I would say a wand if you haven’t yet owned one or have on the list.

They have soooo many uses and give some amazing pleasure.

Can highly recommend the below and the whole range of mon ami toys :star_struck:

A rechargeable wand would always be my recommendation for a first toy. Very versatile and a range of different attachments can be added too.
