We got absolutely battered by Storm Darragh last year so we’re having to redo a lot of ours but i will pop back with pictures once it starts taking shape

Boy did I think it was going to be different pictures! I blame them naming it the Lady Garden :man_facepalming:t2:

I posted a few of our hang out space, I could actually just live out there. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

This looks idyllic @xman69 . I love that you have comfy cushions on the furniture in the lounge area too.

Thank you and the cushions are a must with the amount of time we’re out there. I’ve fallen asleep many nights out in the back patio. :joy:

@xman69 …Very nice, doesnt look like anywhere in the UK.
Dont think youll get many additions to the thread though… bit hard to follow your mansion swimming pool .

I’ve shared my little nook. I didn’t share the front garden because i don’t want anyone tracking me down :joy: it’s nothing compared to @xman69 but it’s my own little space and I love it

I’m US based, but that doesn’t matter to me as long as it doesn’t matter to others. The pool is actually only 16.5K gallons (I’ll let you all convert :joy:) which is not that large but I get it. I’m sure others on here have some cool outdoor spaces. :person_shrugging:t3:

I can talk gallons too, but aquascapes are not the same as landscapes. A shame really, because I’m very proud of my 12 gallon tank

You should be proud @Tenshadesandme, I like what you’ve done. I love the party lights, great for in the evenings.:heart:

Thankyou, I love the way you’ve built your garden around the pool too, it makes it feel more inclusive of your home, rather than a separate area.

The pontoon lights are indeed great, and there’s always an “ooh” when the sun sets and the lights come on. I feel bad for our neighbours kid though, no thanks to her father, she’s now utterly convinced that the fairy lights on one of our planters (not shown) have real captive fairies inside. She now thinks I’m evil and he’s loving the carnage that he’s created :joy:

That’s funny, and thank you. All of the plants have been my wife’s choice as she has the green thumb. My job is to plant, re-plant, help water and gripe about it the whole time… :joy:
We are trying to get :100: privacy around our pool/patio area. Hopefully others will enjoy this thread as I wasn’t trying to come across as being boastful, and enjoying seeing others ideas for outdoor spaces. Hell I used to swim in a horse trough that had cactus around it. :joy:

She has great taste. I need to sort out plants in ours, again, and with no thanks to the aforementioned storm above. I’m between planting in a rose (Black Baccara, my favourite, just don’t tell the others) and not too. I had a rose once that looked like it was near death, so I planted it in thinking that maybe the added nutrients would do it good and it was so grateful that the damn thing now tries to take over the garden on an annual basis, I can’t risk the Black Baccara doing the same. Despite what the roses may think, I need some pathway.

If it’s deep enough and safe enough, I’ll give it a go. I draw the line at sharks and brain-eating amoeba, but besides that :joy:

@xman69 Very nice . I have several photos of our pond when it was shallow and after I made it deep enough so my wife could float and remove weight off her spine . It is almost finished and here it is currently .https://lovehoneyforum.com/t/images-to-share-in-topics/259586/519
I will be darned if I can’t find where a photo of my tiny three tier waterfall that feeds the pond . Myself and my propane tank minion . Youngest grandson really liked it . I do not have any good photo of my protected from four sides area for nude sun bathing . A friend that visits from California say he loves our back yard more than any place he has ever been . With the waterfall drowning out much of the neighborhood noise while sitting on the patio under the awning with all our ferns and evergreen trees , along with the Japanese Maple and butterfly bush and hydrangeas .

Thank you @Oldman, sounds like quite the oasis. I’m sure you help out keeping everything tidy and weed free like me. :joy::smiling_face_with_sunglasses::+1:t2:

@Simon_101 looks like a nice hangout, so the small building is a love shed? :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

A full time job , keeping weeds somewhat under control . Over the 44 years I have lived here we have had a number of different neighbors behind and next to us . Most of them did not take good care of their back yards . The weeds creep under the fence along with seeds blowing in the wind . I will be spending a good chunk of today into that endeavor . Also need to trim some branches along the frence line .
