Having tried shaving my balls with a beard trimmer I can confirm its a bad idea. There WILL be blood. And pain. A regular wet shave is far more successful and trauma free.

@I_ll_try_anything I have this trimmer. I find it ok for trimming pubes above my shaft but I tend not to use it on my shaft and balls because it does not trim close enough. I use the Gillette body and intimate razor which I much prefer and it shaves much closer.
