I’ve never really had UTI’s before. And having one is supposed to hurt, right? Mine didn’t, and it took me a little bit to figure out what was going on.
I’ve been enjoying urethra penetration for a while now. Started with toys, but I prefer a partner’s finger. And a bit of licking around the opening. One or the other was probably the source of the UTI. But anyways, I just got itchy. And since my plumbing is weird and I have a branch of the urethra that actually opens inside my vagina, it meant I had two itchy openings instead of just one.
The itchy tingling, craving feeling just didn’t go away. For over a week I just kept scratching the itch. Like, wanting nothing more than to cram something in there. It sort of hurt to pee, but I could also cum just from peeing. Is this something others have experienced?
I do find my sex drive increases when I have a UTI, because everything is more sensitive, but you have to think about the bacterial risks as well: vaginitis can be very painful, and a kidney infection is no laughing matter. Enjoy your urethra play by all means, there’s nothing wrong with that, but maybe pick up some cystitis drinks to treat the infection. I get recurrent UTIs from sex. I enjoy the sex I have, the UTIs are just an unfortunate side effect of good sex and our anatomy
I enjoy sounding too but after repeated UTI’s (which were very painful) and a case of prostatitis (which i didn’t even know was a thing) I’ve given it up.
Think for men it might be more ouchy as it tends to sting and burn all way down the shaft when peeing and can be rather an eek moment trying to pee when the body reflex makes you not want to and tenses up
I’ve had UTIs that I wasn’t aware I even had (until they became serious enough that I had other symptoms of an infection in my whole body). Unfortunately, if you don’t have the initial symptoms of a UTI, then it can be quite bad because you don’t seek treatment until the infection is more serious and harder to treat. Never ignore the symptoms of a UTI because you don’t want it to spread to other parts of the body. They are rarely serious, but it’s best to get treated with antibiotics via your doctor. Keep enjoying what you enjoy but try to take precautions, be as body aware as you can and get symptoms treated by a doctor as soon as possible! I’m assuming yours either got better on it’s own or you’ve had some treatment?
God, the first time i had one which wasnt that long ago i literally thought i was dying. It came on in the middle of the night and i crept downstairs before nearly collapsing. Within a few hours i was peeing nearly all blood. 3 different antibiotics later and it cleared. The 2nd one scared me so much i downed 6 pts of water as soon as i felt it come on and again nearly collapsed as i had flushed the sodium out of my body. Thankfully i now know to flush it out but sensibly and that seems to work after a couple of days with no need of antibiotics.
I’ve always been super vigilant with sounds. Initially I was boiling them but later found that using hand sanitiser was as effective (although it will sting a bit of you don’t get it all off!). If also use sterile lubricant only, such as Optilube like they use for catheters etc. to minimize the chance of UTIs, as well as always making sure I ejaculate and urinate to “flush the pipes” after a session. All good so far.
I struggle with UTI’s. I never get itchy, just a feeling of a burning ball in my bladder and I cant pee.
I’ve never indulged in urethra play due to the risk of UTI’s.
Exactly! I suffered a really bad one after a Cystoscopy (camera down urethra into bladder) i had the shivers, unable to keep warm and was pissing razor blades for nearly a fortnight, despite taking all the advised precautions like drinking lots of water. So would never take unnecessary risks.
Only ever had one which was a random infection. Felt like absolute shit.
A subsequent PSA test showed raised kevels. It prompted a prostate examination, which was fine.
Turns out you should wait about 3 weeks after an infection before getting a PSA test, as the infection can raise PSA levels.
.my test was only about a week after infection.
Consultation with a specualist and conclusion was no prostate issue and it was just a rare random infection that actually isnt common in men as much as it is in women.
UTI’s are not to be taken lightly!!!
Yes, i had a random UTI which wasn’t painful but restricted me passing urine
which triggered a series of tests because i was in my mid-40’s…prostate, injection of Iodine into my bloodstream to highlight the bladder for a scan and the aforementioned Cystoscopy which lead to the awful UTI i mentioned.
Trust me it wasn’t, especially the bit where it enters the bladder via the pee sphincter and you are told to bear down as if peeing but every instinct is to tense it up.
Just as they were about to start my cystoscopy, with me lying naked from the waist down on the table and fully shaved, one of the nurses suddenly said “Hello sir. You used to teach me.”
