OK ... New to sex toys.... But at 42 I have had my experience of the real thing. Now as officially single, I find that I am getting a desire to explore a bit. With a hysterectomy last year, I have found that I do miss the deep uteral orgasms, but I still get clit,g spot, and recently a virginal jaunt into anal!
I always go for bigger rather than smaller.
Anyone up to recommending what my first toy should be? My wishlist has a few things on it already, but I am in 2 minds what to start off with.
I am still fairly new to toys myself (and 40) but started out with a bullet...I now have a growing collection of toys but I suppose it all depends what your looking for.

I too had a hysterectomy last year and it hasn't killed off my sex drive either ! Personally I love dildos and would recommend the Si novelties realistic vibrating dildo ( I have the 7 inches one ) and the lovehoney basics suction cup dildo (its quite chunky )
I find that because they've got a bit of flexibility they're good for angling towards the g spot . A bullet is also a very handy little toy, I use mine a lot!

Hmm...I did look at the basics suction dildo.... Would add a different dimension to solo play;) and not too expensive. As I had my hystererectomy well after my split from my ex(20) year relationship by 2years, and now a year on from that.... I am a bit rusty ! Lol. I pretty much had 0 sex for 5 years.... So my hysterectomy version of me has only just got a test drive with a new guy! Was flying. Blind to see if all the bits worked lol! I think a bit of level toning still needed.... So I might get a set of balls for exercising those muscles. I need a vibrator/ dildo at least though. I have a sort of African hard but massager... That has been my " friend" but really only hits the g spot... Not a deep toy...which I do miss.

Haha my postie is a good guy... I accidently left my door on the latch one day (I was home but music up loud) He just put my parcel in the hallway, closed the door properly and then the following day knocked to ask me if I got it okay lol
