Best of luck @Gazza_64 mate, I’m glad you’re ok :+1::slightly_smiling_face:

Well I have been for my meeting with Ops Manager this morning and I was offered the position  slightly different role than I have and previously had but working in an profession where I am more familiar with hours are better no 4am start or going back to a remote site at midnight, just the unenviable task of letting my current employer know when I have the contract in my hand :raised_back_of_hand: .

Mrs is well chuffed so that’s mean less stress all round

Great news for the job front and good luck for the jiggy jiggy :joy:

Hi all I have had my conditional offer in writing for the new job and need to pen my resignation email to my current employer this weekend, trying to get everything sorted while I can, second hand car, return all equipment let my colleagues know ( told one who had surgery before Christmas and took SSP - over this time he has since found another job and handed in his notice the employer has told him that he should expect no salary and he will take the sick pay back + he will not be paid until 2 days after his notice period ) nice bloke to work :scream: :poop: I have my start date of the 27th Feb but can start earlier if possible ? So my thoughts were to stay on sick until my note runs out on the17th Feb and start 20th Feb at my new job I don’t think he is going to be happy, not sure where I stand in relation to holiday or anything else as I should of had 8 or 9 days holiday of which I only took 1 ! The email will go in on Monday so fingers crossed :crossed_fingers: and advice would be appreciated as ever as it’s not how I wanted it end . But it’s no longer suitable for me to continue working for him . :kissing_heart:
