I have a full back and gonna start my sleeve.
No your not seen it done and looks effective.
I love tattoos!! I have a moon and stats on the back of my neck which I'm gonna get reworked, an angel on my right shoulder blade, lilies and stars and swirls down my right arm, flowers and butterflies on my left arm. A black cat tattoo on my left lower arm, a tattoo for crohns awareness on my stomach, it's a purple butterfly and the body is the purple ribbon for Crohn's disease awareness.
A tribal butterfly design on lower back and a fuschia design on my ankle. I think that's everything.

ohhhhhhh goodness , here goes :
i have both earlobes tattooed with stars , ftw tattooed on my tongue , you tattooed on my inner bottom lip . three starts under my right eye , and leopard print all down the left side of my face onto my scalp .
cherries , fangs and some sorta skulls on my neck , with a neclace with my sons middle name in it , a full chest piece of leopard and swallows with a flaming sacred heart an my sons name in a scroll in the middle , one shoulder has a cupcake with ' eat me ' on it , the other shoulder a vial with ' drink me '
portrait of my son on top left arm and a blacked out lower half on the right arm , full sleeve of random things on left arm , rabbit from watership down on right hand , , rose and diamond on right hand , hopeless romantic tattooed on knuckles , with writing down the insides of the fingers of my left hand .
an angel on my somach , and right leg front is all full including kneecaps , left leh half full inc kneecap . a heart on right foot , and my '' toe knuckles '' have ' get*better@ on them . ive got a couple little bits n the palms of my hands an ive had the sole of my foot done too .
my back has a lot of writing across my shoulders and a dia de los muertos filling the rest .
next planned tattoo is a dotwork portrait of dolly parton on my ribcage .

The purple butterfly is for Fibromyalgia and Lupus awareness too 
got a sleeve and a half meeting in the middle of my back then going down my spine.
oh has wings, a ankle band, stars on wrist, a dragon, a butterfly, my name going from hairline downwards and sons name on wrist.
both want more but cant warrent the expenditure atm

yup . your tongue is supposed to frequently regenerate , so USUALLY .. it works the way the sole of your foot does , the tatoo disappears over time , but mine ... hasnt . been there 4 years now !

Star on one wrist, moon that I designed on the other, cherry blossom tree on right foot, giant red bow with heart shaped tipped ribbons on the back of my neck going down my back and onto left shoulder, tribal rose under the bow, and two intertwined trees on my lower back that we got for our anniversary (his is on upper back).
We want another matching tattoo now since we just got engaged 3 weeks ago! Cant wait. I have at least 5 more planned so I'm saving at the mo. Its sooooo addictive!
I have a small flower design on my back and my sons name with a butterfly tattoed on my wrist. I am also hoping to get a phoenix tattoed onto my thigh soon x

If I was in an LTR I would love the thought of having some kind of matching tattoo for me and her...something with only half of it on my body and half on hers, so we have to put the two together to make the whole.
I've wanted something like this :) Maybe like a yin-yang or two halves of a heart, so when we hold hards they fit together perfectly :)
I have one on my hand, lower back, shoulder blades and i got my friends initials on my bottom (we were very drunk and found her tattoo gun haha)
I don't have any yet, but have been thinking about getting one on my shoulder or the top of one arm - just don't know what!
