The Fleshlight X Lovehoney Masterstroke Male Masturbator was a major disappointment

I am a heterosexual guy at 27 years of age. I have been masturbating with my hand edited by mod However, throughout the years I have gotten many wounds, and experienced bleeding many times, countless times throughout my self-pleasuring career. So I decided it would be a good idea to masturbate with something that wouldn’t cause me those problems.

My penis is 6 inches in girth and a little over 6 inches in length. I was excited a few weeks ago to get the Fleshlight X Lovehoney Masterstroke Male Masturbator in a package to my apartment. I was a bit disappointed to learn that I had to buy lubricant to use it properly. This morning, I got that lubricant in the mail. I was already masturbating, so I was especially excited. But my penis wasn’t completely erect. It was semi-erect, and I generously put lubricant on my dick. It was cold, and shrunk my dick. I tried masturbating to make up for it. I noticed that it was significantly less pleasurable masturbating with lube. My dick got warmer and harder, but still just as erect before I put the lubricant on. With some effort, I was able put my penis in the masturbator, and do some stroking. It was not pleasurable at all. I felt like I was just doing work. My penis was not even getting harder. I’m writing this review because I am angry that I bought a highly rated sex toy that brought me no pleasure at all.

To submit a review, you need to review the product on it’s product page. This is here for this product. At the top of the reviews is a link to submit your own. Some of us post our reviews in this thread on the forum but that’s really just so we can link to them and talk about products.

To be honest, it distubs me far more that masturbating with your hand you end up wounded and bleeding regularly. On rare occasions when we have sex my OH can get a small tear to his foreskin, this is not a good thing and puts PIV on hold for a few days until he’s healed. I would recommend, since you have bought lube, that you use it when you masturbate with your hand too to avoid this.

ETA I think, though not owning a penis, have no first hand experience that the strokers are meant to make it feel more like having actual sex with a partner. How do you get on with that? Does it still cause wounds and bleeding?

I would also say, don’t forget that LH have a happiness promise so if you don’t get on with a product you can return it, used, for a refund.

Welcome to the forum @emptyset00000.

Sorry to hear you didn’t get on with the toy on the first attempt, but it’s worth giving it a few more tries before making a definite decision on it.

Everyone is different, and what might be amazing to someone else just doesn’t do anything for you, and that’s okay. If everyone was the same, life would be incredibly boring!

The forum is for Lovehoney customers, it’s not staff and your review won’t appear anywhere other than here, so you would need to leave a review on the shopping site if you wanted it to be seen by potential customers.

If you decide that you still don’t get on with the toy, Lovehoney do have the 100 day happiness promise that you could look into.

Additionally, I wonder if the injuries you mentioned could be the result of friction. I’m not a penis owner, but the thought of masturbating dry makes me wince. I genuinely don’t think you’ll find a toy that does not require or strongly recommend using lube.

Good luck, however you decide to proceed.

Are you stroking that hard you cause yourself injury? I’m male 48 and can say I’ve never hurt myself masturbating. And believe me I’ve masturbated a lot

Thank you Peitho for responding. I already knew how to properly post a product review, I just wanted a different way of venting. I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking, but I have never had sex with another person. I am a virgin.

I masturbate very frequently compared to most people. The most times I’ve masturbated in a day is 11. I typically masturbate 14 times a week, but when I have more time at home, I masturbate more than that.

Ah, okay. I was simply meaning that (I think) the sleeves are supposed to make it feel more like having sex and less like masturbating, though, as you say, you still have to do the work with strokers unless they are electrically mechanical.

As @MsSubExperimenter says, everyone is different and not all toys suit all people. I have certainly bought toys in the past, some very pricey that just don’t do it for me. Others that need a few gos to find out how to use them for the best results. I would suggest trying it again a few more times and if it still does nothing for you, return it via the happiness promise using the info linked above.

I still find it most worrying that you make yourself bleed masturbating though. If you don’t get on with the toy, fair enough, but please try using the lube when you masturbate with your hand as it should reduce your self inflicted injuries.

Sounds like you’d be better off with using a stroker rather than a fleshlight as it’ll allow you the use and grip of your hand still but with the added textured cushioning of the stroker… the lube bottle you can maybe rest in some warm water to get it at room temperature for comfort

I find it difficult to understand how you are injuring yourself. If it takes that much pressure/force/grip I don’t think you should force it personally. I think as @AJSTAR has said a stroker may be better but my experience is lube will always be required. Just for info ladies may also require lube so its something you have to get use to.

@emptyset00000 welcome to the forum.

Injuring yourself through masturbation doesn’t sound great to be honest.

I recently had a fleshlight as a tester and thought it a great alternative to simply using my hand to masturbate, different texture and the feeling of slightly hands off was great. But I appreciated that they aren’t for everyone and is definitely not a replacement for my OH grabbing my dick and bringing me off.

I think you need to address your technique and why you are causing yourself an injury as a first stop. Unless it is a pain play.

I won’t repeat the excellent advice already posted, but will add you can get a usb warmer for fleshlights type toys. It makes for a more comfortable experience and is relatively inexpensive - even more so if you catch it on sale from LH.
