  1. “What does Oscar stand on?” - Is that really the question? Well, Oscar the Grouch stands on… or sits in a bin. Oscar Pistorius stands up in court (though his story does not). Oscar Wilde, well I’m not too sure what he stands on but he stood up for homosexuality and was treated abysmally. The Oscar statue stands on a little round base… possibly a film real… Do any of those get a point?

Actually, there may be a small score change for :yellow_heart:2 as the card says ‘marble’, but the internet says ‘polished limestone’. I’ll amend the scores. :+1:

Thank you for your immense efforts with the quiz this year @Ian_Chimp!

Congratulations @MsSubExperimenter ! :clap::clap::clap:

Thank you for all the quizzes this year @Ian_Chimp - I’ve really enjoyed them and hooray for all who take part.

P.S. I think, as one who gained from it, that you’re being generous with my answer for :yellow_heart:2 … I knew they were white and smooth but I think if they’d actually been covered in chalk as I guessed it would probably have weathered away before being recorded! :rofl: I do agree with the Internet though, not marble.

Can I have a ½ instead? I think I like ½s

Isn’t chalk limestone?

Congratulations @MsSubExperimenter :slightly_smiling_face:

Also, my teachers always told me to read through my answers! Missed out the Proscenium Arch question! :rofl:

Yep your right, good old google… I know I kept away from limestone crags to slippy for my clown feet

It’s a type of limestone but they probably used a rather more robust one!
