Only just got home and my brain is fried so think I’ll give it a miss this week :blush:

I have added the answers to the quiz post :+1:

And the winner of this week’s Great Hump Day Quiz is… :drum::drum::drum:

@WillC :trophy::balloon:

Congratulations! :slightly_smiling_face:

And the only Great Hump Clean-Sweeper as well. :clap::bouquet:

@WillC :heartpulse:

The kid’s questions this week were:

:blue_heart:5 | :heartpulse:1 | :yellow_heart:3 | :poop:2 | :green_heart:4 | :orange_heart:4

It was a close call, and @SexInTheCity very nearly nicked it… But the King Edward Crown this week goes to… @Craig1234 :clap::potato::crown:

Thanks, and @Peitho the answer i could kick myself for is Sinkhole! :joy:

Thanks @Ian_Chimp… Love a good king Edward tattie…

Thanks @Ian_Chimp - I have learnt stuff. I certainly wouldn’t have thought of Venezuela as a founding OPEC member, I thought it was all Middle East Countries at the start. And the Rugby question, I was split between 2 and 3 - I always assumed it was the conversion that was 5 points. I’m afraid it shows how little interest I have in the 6 Nations although work mates are very keen! Rest assured I have even less interest in Football.

Congratulations @WillC - a well deserved win!

And @Craig1234 King Edwards are the best - enjoy!

Damn… I was :poop:2 off a clean sweep for the kids questions! And only one number off… Very hard to imagine a keyboard in your head I realised!

Well done @WillC! :blush::partying_face::confetti_ball::clap:t2:

The kids are off sick today, so I’m afraid I won’t get a chance to do the quiz until (probably) this evening. :crossed_fingers: Thought I’d give you all a heads-up. :slightly_smiling_face:

But I’ll miss my chips :joy::joy:. Hope the kids get better soon

One has chicken pox, and has been off since Friday, and the other had a really barking cough this morning, so we kept her off today too. However, I have not heard her cough since, so there’s a strong possibility I’ve been played.

They are both in fine spirits (aka ‘dickheads’), and are about to be lobbed in the wheelie bin. It’s been a long day.

Been there, got the t-shirt… :rofl::joy::rofl::joy:

The Great Hump Day Quiz! 🐪

(apologies for the lateness)

Welcome to the Great Hump Day Quiz!

We’re always trying to add more people to our quiz gang, so check out how to hide your answers, pop them in a post, and I’ll add you to the Scoreboard. :+1::slightly_smiling_face:

:exclamation:We also have an answer template you can copy and paste now too. :+1:

Where do the questions come from?

I found a mysterious old box of trivial pursuit, with even more trivial pursuits stuffed inside. It is a treasure trove of quiz questions, and all of them really old. :slightly_smiling_face: Perfect fodder for a Hump Day special. :+1:

Piecing together a few bits and bobs, there were three sets, and a couple of the instructions. One is a Genus Edition, dated 2001, and the other the 20th Anniversary one, 2004. There’s also another old style board and questions in there that looks/smells quite a bit older. That’s the box they’re all stuffed in, and that has ©1983 printed on it. No instructions, so not sure if that’s accurate. That one says it’s a Master Game Genus Edition.

(Edit: Now with an added sprinkling of more recent questions too :+1::slightly_smiling_face:)

So, there you go. It’s a bit random, but it should add to the fun. :slightly_smiling_face:
