The Great Pub Quiz Game Thread

You clever sausage. Disagree with you about it being tasty though @Peitho! Not my cup of tea at all.

 Okay, agree, edible but no chocolate cake… just wanted to convey food! Sorry.

@Ian_Chimp I love your answer to number 7 and wish it was but I’m afraid vomit long predates your emeritus professor! :joy::+1:t2:

I hope I get full points for number 8. I don’t want any ½ nonsense simply because we happen to be on first name terms. :slightly_smiling_face: No one should be penalised for name-dropping…

(And I hope that’s a typo and not another trick… :slightly_smiling_face:)

Yep… I lose a mark for Sesame Street! :see_no_evil:

ETA I’m changing it but fully accept the penalty for failing to correctly proof read!

I thought it might have been something obscure, like a Dutch errant knight from the 12th Century, or something. :slightly_smiling_face: Or ‘Pickled Dave’, the tortured soul of a murdered chipshop worker, forever bound to haunt the bins of Upper Throppington highstreet. :slightly_smiling_face:

I also think I should get extra points for adding in ‘diphallic’ for the two-cocked snake question. :slightly_smiling_face:

I think (rough maths) that puts me on 12 points?

Of course… let me get this right though…

That’s 1 for taramasalata and another 2 for each of the bananas. 1 for the Beatles, 2 for the snake with your clear linguistic bonus. Obviously Postman Pat does like to dress as a Playboy Bunny at work so 1 there. 8 and 9 were both correct though surely a bonus mark for being on a first name basis with Oscar so that brings you to 10 and then I make it 3 more, 1 each for Tom, Dick and Harry so in fact you’ve robbed yourself of a mark and actually have 13/10.
