@Melody1 didn’t know that! It is in my jewellery box… next to metals which may or may not be magnetic?

Morning all.
I dont know if anyone knew or if someone mentioned it anywhere on the forum but I was watching a live stream last night and apparently yesterday was National Horny Day. I didn’t know there was such a day.

Feeling a bit deflated this evening. I’ve not long had to say goodbye to my OH who is being deployed for the next 2/3 months. We’ve been fortunate enough to have reached nearly two years without a deployment, and in the grand scheme of things this isn’t a long one and we can still make contact for most of it (albeit limited). I’ve managed really well in the run up to him going away but it hit me as we were saying goodbye and I felt the most horrendous drop in my stomach.
It’s going to be an odd few months but I’m looking at the positives and the time and opportunities we have afterwards. It’s all new to me (not necessarily to him) so will take some getting used to. You guys are gonna see me around here a bit more than usual I expect!

Easy to say, but you will get used to it, never nice being separated from your loved one. But we’re here to help keep you occupied.

That is suckiness and I get the drop in the stomach feeling, but as Will says, it will get easier. Just when you’ve got used to having space to yourself and your own routine he’ll be back to mess it up !
Any projects you can crack into while he’s away to occupy time? Otherwise, plenty of games and chat here to occupy those down moments. Hugs.

Ta, chuck. When this has washed out, I’m seriously considering bleaching my hair to a blonde or even white, then applying some horse-frightening colour to it. Tee hee.
Anybody got any recommendations for bleaching products that don’t wreck your hair entirely? Mine tends to be on the dry side anyway, so I don’t want it falling to bits!
