Yes, I knew it was about the forum app, and I didn’t find any link to download that app. the only lovehoney app I see is the one to control some sex toys. I searched for it on google play store, then on google and the only relevant thing I saw was a post in the forum saying the app was removed from the store.
If you want to download it from the Play Store, the one to download is the “DiscourseHub” app, which allows quick access to Discourse Forums. Or alternatively there should be a little “download app” button that appears when on the site - which will create a link to the forum on your apps page
The app that was removed from the store was the old shopping app
ah thanks, because no, there was no “download app” button.
I download the app and connected it successfully to the lovehoney forum, but now it redirects me to my web browser when I try access to the forum. is that supposed to happen?
There is some more information in the linked threads about the “download app” button - but that is just a link to the webpage rather than a contained app.
The Discourse App will redirect you to the browser to log in, then once successfully logged in it should stay within the app. Here is a screenshot of the forum in the discourse app:
Is yours displaying like this?
Nope [link removed] as it is that app is pretty useless.
You may need to email me the image as you aren’t Trust Level 2 yet (TL 2 is when you can post images). My email is: community@lovehoney.co.uk
Thank you
I will check with the Discourse team, this may be a difference between Android and IOS but I am unsure. The app looks and functions exactly the same as the browser, so there isn’t much of a difference between the two
@Peitho it is posted in Images to share in topics and I copied the link here. I thought that was how it was done ?
Posted in images to share in topics is absolutely correct - I’ve just spotted it there
… but then you share the link to the topic you want it to appear in not repost the photo.
So…
Here is @arry069 's ice cream selection for everyone - take your pick!
For reference, I’m being greedy and would like a Knicker Bocker Chocolate Glory please
Which one did you plump for in the end @Cuberdon?
The Discourse Hub one is the app you download from the playstore, and that can be quite nifty if you’re a member of a couple of different Discourse-based forums as it pools your notifications and let’s you switch between sites easily.
The ‘Install app’ one from the browser menu is a little limited, as it just gives you a single private browser window, so I have since reverted to using a tab group in my regular browser so I can flip between a few topics in different tabs, as well as browse the shopping site too.
I’m on Android if you want me to run through installing them both again to see if there are any issues? Can you give me some details on how you got them, and what you’re pressing to use them?
Discourse. I really don’t see any “install app” on the browser, is it Apple specific?
Discourse, I found it on the Google play store, but it just gives me notifications and opens my browser.
I’ve just downloaded Discourse Hub again, and linked up a few forums, and it is behaving a little differently then I remember.
Update: @Cuberdon I think I may have found a setting that could help.
If you tap on the menu in the lower-right corner of the Discourse Hub forum list it should bring up a couple of settings. The top one is ‘Open sites with in-app browser - When this setting is disabled, sites will be launched via your browser of choice, including PWAs’, and flipping that on makes it act more like I remember. Could you give that a try and see if it’s any better?
I have a question my OH surprised me last night saying she wants to wear her butt plug and jiggle balls when we go on holiday from going to the airport and take them out when we get to hotel but is concerned that they will show up on scanner at passport control will they
I would say yes because even if they are not made of metal they must have some metal components within them (jiggle balls anyway).
I would warn against wearing her Jiggle Balls, I assume they do not have a flared base which means they run the risk of travelling further upwards than intended. A holiday trip to A&E might not be the best start to your hols
Ignore me - Completely misread the question - Thought she wanted you to wear them .
Really? Assuming worn vaginally NOT anally, is this a risk? I’ve worn jiggle balls for long periods and never lost anything.
I wouldn’t wear them through airport security but on the same basis @steve19 said that they often contain metal and I’d rather not go for that private search!
Completely misread the question Jiggle Balls worn vaginally are fine, just don’t put them in anally.
Time for another cup of tea I think…
Something stronger may be better lol
Mmmmm, tea
The Cost of Living topic has drifted way off track , but just to say we have an electric van at the food project and not only does ot struggle to cope with the hills when loaded but it has also broken down a lot. The diesel vans might be less compatible with the ethos of the project but do a lot better job. Msybe we just got a ‘monday morning’ or 'friday afternoon ’ van
In general as @Oldman i see EVs as another example of the poor subsidising the rich and agree with @WillC 's points too
