Not to assume @JoCat ’s reasons, as everyone has their own, but I know for me, I’ve posted photos before when I’ve really liked how something looked, or I was having a good day and feeling confident.
I might have posted because someone had wondered how something looked on a plus size person, so they could see it in reality.
Those are the reasons that come straight to mind at least. Might have been others at the time. Nothing to do with being exhibitionist.
Great explanation @MsSubExperimenter . I was actually thinking about this topic with regards to myself. Back in the day I shared tons of images online so I asked myself… why? I dug into my old archives to review all my images and it seems to me my motivation at the time was either from a photography standpoint (nice or creative photo) or to show off an idea or interest for a certain discussion. That being said, I had forgotten about a website I used to run that had a monthly themed photo contest. It would be things like sexy with a hat, make a sexy outfit from garbage bags, adult version of the website name, etc. Some of those personal photos are really funny and if out of context… well… what the heck are you doing? LOL
Because I wanted to.
We have only been here for a year now and I think its been quite obvious that there are many people that are after certain content from certain members, you only have to read and see reactions, it’s certainly seems to be, not so much about “lingerie” and more the content with in it and I think that this debate has highlighted that even more so.
The thread is not about only seeing what you want to see!
If you want to see more women in lingerie then google it !
There are many men that have smashed some of the lingerie picture and look way better than most women probably could in the same peace.
And to be honest you have probably made you wait for specific content longer , even if I was going to be posting a new picture, I certainly wouldnt be posting now and looking desperate for the attention and approval of a select group.

I think too many people join the forum thinking it’s a perv kind of sex talk about anything.
It’s all about sexual awareness /happiness and advice and being happy in what you are or into and not being ashamed of it.
If you want to perv there is plenty of other forums out there.
The Lovehoney Forum is a place for genuine, non-judgemental, sex positive chat.
We will not be seperating the Lingerie thread by gender, that goes against everything the forum is about. The thread is open to everyone, no matter what. As @Ian_Chimp suggested, I can see value in separating it a bit based on category, but absolutely not on the basis of what is in someones pants.
If you wish to only see AFAB bodies in lingerie, then there are plenty of places on the internet where that is possible, this space will not be becoming one of them.

I never said men shouldn’t wear or post images of themselves wearing “womens” lingerie .
All i said was, it seemed to be mostly men posting photos in the subject category.

You just need to think about others, people who have different kinks find it very hard to be accepted so posting pictures and non pictures can be very awkward and hard.
@Iwill I seem to remember you saying the same thing apologies the last time but didn’t say it until you had to. Please learn that some folks get easily offended when it comes to their body. I’m not talking just about photos.
If it’s something you don’t like then there is no need to make a comment. I’m speaking on half of everyone who feels a bit different from other people and want to be accepted.
The thing is one person will say something then another agrees and so on. Had you not said this there wouldn’t of been a problem.
As said this has been dealt with the right way now.

@JoCat Yes on my android phone last night I noticed it happened around 8.30pm but it hasn’t effected my Android Tablet.
