@KinkyMira and @Craig1234 … Mrs W here … yes I see that Mira and Craig, but I think she clearly enjoyed the last part of the evening, I am more worried that my response on that night ie complete surprise might be less than she hoped. However, only one way to find out… oh, how will I get to sleep tonight? Don’t want to drink much, need a clear head tomorrow…

The morning made a normal start with all the usual greetings. About 1130 the boy who is the husband of the subject lady said the usual “Good morning, how are you? Good weekend?”
I replied “Very usual weekend except the fantastic drink on Friday”. Before I could ask after his wife he said “My wife enjoyed meeting you and asked if you enjoyed all of it”. I smiled broadly and nodded, adding oh yes, very much. He said “Sorry, must dash, lots to do and I have to phone her” and went.
Just before lunch I was working away thinking oh well Mr W is back Saturday, when my desk phone rang, I answered it and a female voice asked if that was [my name] I said “Err yes” and the voice said as best I can remember “It’s me, [name of his wife], how are you? He said you enjoyed Friday, so we decided we are taking you and your Husband for a meal next Saturday, if you are free?”
How forward was that, but I heard my voice say “Yes we’re free”.
She said “Good, just give him your address and we will see you at about 4pm Saturday, speak soon, bye.” With that she put the phone down.
Her Husband came over almost immediately and said “I understand you got some paperwork for me.” So I wrote our address down, plus my mobile number and gave it to him. With that he walked away. All very business-like. I guess they must have been in contact.
Really cock-a-hoop now. Cannot wait until Saturday. xx

Not long phoned Mr W, he is fine with the arrangement for Saturday. He knows I always get dressed up for a restaurant meal and he gets a reward later.
It seems to me like she wears the trousers in the house and he does her bidding, she seems very strict with no messing and that’s how she came across on the phone. It was almost as if she told us we were going to dinner rather than invited us. Phew, must put some thought into what to wear Saturday … Thank you everybody for your help xx
