It’s alright, Ian - I was wrong about the search results. Can’t see for looking, me.
You were posh @WillC our remote was the youngest person in the house or closest to the tele ( child)
Up until the cabled remote, the remote control was my sister!
bah, you youngsters!
Tele???
I’m old, mine were vinyl!
Mine too! I remember thinking it was amazing when I started buying music in cassette form…until the tape started unravelling in the machine
Joe90 - top tele!
Grab the pencil and Sellotape
You start to feel old when you can remember VHS vs Betamax war lol
Oh the times I spent doing that…sometimes it actually worked too!
What about the non-runner…Video 2000?
I don’t remember Video 2000, what year was that?
VHS tapes used to go the same way, you’d be half way through a film when everything stopped and when you tried to retrieve the tape it was a jumbled pile that you had to prise out with a pencil!
Fluff on the needle has a whole different meaning nowadays!!!
I actually recorded all the songs i owned that had backwards masking, took the cassette apart and put it back together so i could hear them the right way round! That’s how i knew Rocket by Def Leppard had the chorus of Gods of War in the instrumental bit! Sad eh?
Oh that it explains it! I did wonder how you knew that !
