I was unsure as they weren’t immediately obvious to me! ![]()
Anyone know a way of including pictures (with the links) and making the pictures small enough that they fit side by side, without it cutting off the picture? Example in pics below - trying to post pic of the two pictures, but when I make them smaller the garter straps get cut off:

There may not be but thought I’d check!
Apologies, ignore that: When I actually post it seems it works ![]()
Edit: Ah, you’ve realised already. ![]()
A good size for two side-by-side is 150x150 each. ![]()
On my phone when I do it in the draft it looks like it cuts off half the image, but just realised when I post it doesn’t seem to, odd, but problem solved!
That will be the ‘100% 75% 50%’ scaling options obscuring the bottom of the image. ![]()
Ah, that makes sense! Thank you ![]()

Ooh. Curious.
I’m going to whip my balls out and have a guess at what you were trying out… ![]()

My best guess is, how to get useable pictures from the new site. Am I close? ![]()
Haha, not quite! I was testing out what the saved items link looked like, but then realised I needed to test through incognito browsing otherwise it just thinks its me!
However, I did try getting pictures earlier for my “what I’m contemplating purchasing” post, but gave up as I couldn’t work it out, so you’re semi-correct! ![]()
I checked mine out too to see if it was anonymous enough to share in my profile.
I couldn’t see anything, but I thought I’d double check later. Did you find anything interesting?
As for the photos, if you’re using an android phone (it’s the only device I use
) you can go to a product page like Crowd Pleaser, and then you can long-press on any of the smaller gallery images underneath the main one as long as it’s not already displaying as the main picture (so click image 2 to take the focus off image 1, then long-press on image 1’s gallery image). Then you can copy it from there, or open image in new tab and copy image from there (quality seems similar so far, but my eyesight is poor
).
It uploads as a png though, not a jpeg like the old ones, so it doesn’t automatically enlarge when clicked on. They are already a phone-friendly ish size though, so no need to change the dimensions (maybe 75% in the Preview?). If you really want a jpeg you can download the image, crop it/edit it, save a copy, and upload that (but is it worth it?). The new ones are also portrait, not square.

Edit: It actually loads the same image when I try uploading both a ‘copy image’ and an ‘open image in new tab → copy image’, so it seems that stage is redundant.
Oooooh this is where I was going wrong then!! Okay… Lets see…

And a good custom size for side-by-side would be to change 220x296 to 150x201:

Yay, thank you @Ian_Chimp that works well
I think 75% is my fave too.
Oooh does the side by side sizing work with them all?

Yay, it does work! Made my day, as I thought the photo feature may not be a possibility anymore and I like having that feature ![]()
![]()
It should do, they’ve been pretty standard so far.
If the original is different than 220x296 then you’ll need to recalculate.
I have another way.
And this one gives you a jpeg like before. ![]()
If you go to the product page you can long-press on an image and copy or download it from there. You have to long-press the main photo as soon as the page loads, otherwise it zooms. If you miss it just refresh the page and get ready to long-press. ![]()

That uploads a 375x500 jpeg
To resize that to 200 wide it’d be 200x265, and for 150 (side by side) it’d be 150x200
Oooh that’s clever, well done for figuring that out! The picture quality is definitely clearer on those ones. 150x200 is a much easier dimension to remember as well! ![]()
I wish I could understand all this cool stuff
![]()
Sorry, it got a bit convoluted.
But it’s not that tricky.
If you go to any product page you can quickly long-press the main image to bring up the ‘copy image’ option (if you miss it you can refresh and try again). Copy the image, and paste it into your post and it’ll look something like this:

Which will be a bit on the large side. So you can change the size by amending the ‘375x500’ to something like 200x265 or 150x200 to make it smaller.
You can also change ‘image’ into a description too (it shows up when it’s large, and in search results). So:

Becomes:
