I work on a phone screen area being around 300 wide, so two 150s sit nicely together without dropping on top of each other. To keep the same ratio as the original itād be 150x200.
For those you put them next to each other (with or without a space should be fine) like this:
Iāve spotted that youāve been deleting a lot of your posts recently. Is everything okay?
If youāre just having a significant prune and start hitting some rate limits on how many you can withdraw in a day, then Brenna can help you out with her magic admin powers.
But if youāre looking at getting rid of everything then thereās some info in the How-To on how to contact Customer Care and request that.
Brenna will probably be back in on Monday if you want to chat with her about anything privately?
Another tip for seeing how the formatting in a post was done is to reply to the post (if itās not in a closed topic), and then press the speech bubble icon on the far left of the format bar in your reply editor. That will quote the whole message youāre replying to, and leaves most of the hidden code intact, so you can have a little look at how it was done.
Fascinating tips in here, I must of spent an hour reading through the posts
I think this is the appropriate place to put this, the reviews for other products arenāt showing either. The closest Iāve got is hitting the reviews, been taken to the ratings seeing ācustomer reviewsā then nothing a blank screen where they should be I presume as when scrolling up or down itās as though theyāre invisible
You can put glitches with the main site in the Glitches topic, and that should get it the proper attention.
If you put what device and browser youāre using thatād be helpful too.
If youāve got a link to one of the glitchy pages I can have a look, but my tips and workarounds are more forum-based now the website has been made-over.
I salute you sirā thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Iām wondering why you dont have lovehoney before the user name? Iād assumed youāre a technical engineer here but itās looking as though youāre so helpful to everyone, bravo
You can grab the topic/post address by long-pressing on the timestamp at the top-right of the post you want to link to, and choose ācopy link addressā.
Open your reply editor, and then click the icon to open up the link wizard. Pop the address in the top URL box, and the optional description in the bottom (thatās the display text), and that will add it to your message in the right format.
And you can even search for topics by title using the link wizard too. Just start typing the name of the topic youāre looking for in the URL box and a list of suggested matches pops up.
I hadnāt noticed that way of doing it! I always click the little link icon at the bottom of posts, Iād totally forgotten you could share posts externally doing it your way!
The link button at the bottom of the post broke for me a while ago (though it seems to be fixed now I check ). It wouldnāt let me copy the address to my clipboard. And the one where you tap rather than long-press the timestamp doesnāt let me copy it either.
Iāve just got into the habit of long-pressing the timestamps, topic titles, menus, etc as it works on them all.
I strip off the ā?u=ian_chimpā from the end, though I donāt think it matters. Some of the default badges are for sharing links, and how busy they are, and I think thatās how it keeps track (you can see your āTop Linksā on your Summary page).
Ah, I was wondering what the user info bit was for, I have to remember to remove it when sharing stuff externally as I donāt want people accidentally finding out my username!
Anyone know how I can show a picture of an item rather than just a link? @Ian_Chimp? (Sorry but you seem to know everything!) For example I posted this link
in the latest purchases thread but Iāve seen other peopleās posts show a picture of the item too
Grabbing product photos is a little different now the website has been changed, but itās still possible.
To then make that picture a link you select the image code in your reply window, and then click the button. This should autofill the display text as the image, and you put the page address in the top URL box like normal.
