It’s not that simple for us, and quite hard to explain. Neither of us have ever had sex with anybody else, and our total commitment to each other might seem old-fashioned and even silly, but it’s the biggest part of the buzz between us, which has so far lasted for 36 years. So even if we had a threesome to achieve something that was impossible between the two of us, it would feel like being - very old-fashioned (and quite inadequate) word coming up - unfaithful. I know a threesome would work for a lot of couples, but not us.

Swinging or swapping of any kind is out of the question for us too, but a few years ago we discovered that it doesn’t stop you going along to swinging clubs.
