My husband has brought it up a few times in the past and said he would really like to try wearing thong underwear. No idea really why but he has shown me some for men that he is looking at and wants to get them. Do many men do this? Are the actually popular for men to wear?

Yes they are very popular as I have many in different colours, and matching bras to go with them thongs, High waisted briefs and crouch less. I’m wearing burgundy high waisted thong at the moment. :ok_button::ok_button::jeans::jeans::heart:

I also think it’s relatively common. If he’s brought it up the idea several times and is currently looking. He may be hoping to receive your support or approval before making the final purchase. Hope you both enjoy the excitement and experience of trying new things.

I wear women’s underwear (started as kink but progressed to my normal) and I enjoy a thong. Makes my butt look great.

I think “normal” is a bit subjective: what is “normal”? It’s definitely not unheard of and it’s definitely normal for some men, but I wouldn’t want to say one style is more “normal” than another; it could make others feel insecure about their choices of underwear. If he likes them and you find a style you both like on him, there’s no reason they can’t be normal for you both!

There would be a good number of men wearing thongs for men out there. The majority? Very unlikely but it wouldn’t be a rarity.

Some would do it full-time, some such as myself as an occasional thing or for special moments with a partner.

My advice would be to embrace it if you’re comfortable with it.

I have worn thongs for years. I love them as part of my underwear choices. My wife says they are great for displaying a nice peachy bum. So she gets lots of pleasure from them. Love Honey does some nice thongs for males. And there are plenty of other companies that provide good ones for men too. I have to say, when I first started wearing them, my wife was a bit surprised/sceptical but she could see that I liked them and wanted to support me in my choice coz I did feel a bit self conscious wearing them. So her support meant a lot back then. And now if she wanted me in something nice for fun times, she always prefers me in a thong.

I wear thongs, mainly for sleepwear. I’m a bit of a hot sleeper, so, especially in summer, I find thongs keep me cooler. I enjoy feeling a little bit ‘sexier’ wearing them as well. My wife is not fussed about seeing me in a thong and initially wondered why I wanted to wear them, however she has purchased some for me as well.
I have plain ones and also some of the ‘mens lingerie’ styles such as
these : LHM Black Lace Thong or these : LHM Stripe Mesh Thong
Both of these are very comfortable and look great.

Welcome to the forum.Yes,as others have posted it is very common these days.Probaly because more people admit it too and Well Done to you for this excellent response.It can take a lot sometimes for us guys to admit something such as this to a partner.It also shows just how much he loves you too.You will both have a lot of fun both with the selecting,buying and wearing of these garments.Good luck and Happy Purchasing.

I have been wearing thongs for awhile and believe that it’s getting more common for men to wear thongs. Maybe not the most popular style , but it seems more companies are offer them now. I find them comfortable to wear, something fun to wear and a little liberating . There still is a stigma that men shouldn’t wear thongs and can be initially a tough thing to talk about I know it’s been hit or miss with girlfriends I have had . i think that’s awesome that he asked I think they are a great style , certainly give them a shot!

When not aroused pretty comfy. Though it depends on the thong. Sometimes they can ride a little up the back. I rarely get aroused just wearing women’s underwear these days (like I said it is my normal) and my favorites can usually hold things in comfortably enough till I calm down.

My husband is in his 40’s and has worn thongs since he was in his 20’s when they seemed to be becoming more popular and available. He was the one who wanted to try them for a few reasons including the look, fit and comfort and he likes to wear them. I think they are more popular than known but most men would not want to admit to it.

For a long time he has been wearing thongs most days now and says it it is still comfortable when he gets aroused in them.

I have never worn a thing but what I recently got into were sexy jock straps. They just cover the front and the entire back is open. I must admit they feel really good.

Is there any real harm in him trying them? If he’s openly discussed it with you, & is actively seeking your input, then I think that speaks volumes for not only his confidence, but your relationship as a whole!

What’s the worst that could happen? He doesn’t really like them in reality, or perhaps you don’t? No big deal.

Who knows, you might discover you like seeing his bum cheeks exposed, or perhaps he does? If that’s the case, it will only lead to good things!

Short answer - Yes. Many men from all walks are wearing thongs, they are becoming far more popular now, & there are all sorts of wonderfully different styles available! If I could offer any suggestion: Let him choose 1, you choose 1 & decide on a 3rd that appeals to you both, for whatever reasons.

For context, I’m a straight & very happily married man. When I initially even thought about trying a thong or similar, I was far more anxious & nervous about the idea than was ever warranted! I had all sorts of unfounded & misguided fears about taboos & outdated misconceptions, & felt inclined to keep it all to myself. I struggled with the idea for ages! When I finally decided to act on my thoughts, I tried them on in private, still fearful & questioning everything… Once I saw how everything looked, I was actually pleasantly surprised! I finally mustered up the courage to wear them on a date 1 night with my GF (now Wife), & her reaction later that evening was nothing short of amazing! She giggled with sheer happiness & surprise, & wouldn’t actually let me take them off for quite some time… She wanted to inspect every angle, the look, feel & fit of them!

Fast forward to now, I always seek her opinion when shopping for the next potential “sexy little number” & I think she feels wonderful that her opinion counts? She doesn’t always get what she wants, sometimes it’s purely about me, but in almost every scenario they are often removed before long, so everybody wins! I say go for it! Life is far too short not to try! Even if you’re not 100% sure about the whole idea, support his bravery & encourage his willingness to try! Just my honest thoughts…
