As title suggests, I’m in a right conundrum as I’m considering getting some steel sounding rods but alas Lovehoney don’t have any in Stock which seems bizarre considering I rarely come across something they don’t have!
So my question is… what should I do?!
I know I can easily get them from other places but I value the reviews on something like this and would rather be recommend some, yet I know forum rules don’t allow you to recommend anything from competitors 
Are we allowed to mention brands?
I’d say you have limited options. Buy from elsewhere. Wait until it’s back in stock or maybe try contacting customer service and see if they have any idea if or when it might be stocked again 
If the stock issue is a long term thing, you could pop alternatives in the Pander to me! .. PRODUCTS ONLY topic too 
Also have a look at Lovehoney on Amazon. Sometimes items that are out of stock on the website are in stock in Lovehoney’s Amazon shop page (forgotten what it’s actually called, sorry!).
If they’re still showing on the LH site but say that they’re out of stock then I imagine that they will be getting more stock in otherwise they would just remove them from the site. Might be worth an email to customer care to see if they know when more stock is expected?
I prefer to order from LH too, I know they’re reliable, discrete and safe but I guess it depends how long you’re willing to wait! I’m sure there are other reputable companies out there, I just haven’t looked. You’d need to do some research like checking trust pilot reviews and checking their returns policy etc.
Maybe pop some examples in the Pander to me thread too - it’s unusual for LH not to have something like that.

Yeah totally agree plus I always worry if buying from somewhere else, will the toy be up to safe quality… like my luck I’ll get a metal toy and within the week the silver will start flaking off or changing colour after washing
