No disrespect . Just an honest question because i dont know. When someone is a trans male or trans female, what does that mean? Does a trans male want to be female but still has a cock or is a trans male wanting to be a male but has a pussy? Im confused which is which.
Hey @edwards.alij, there is a thread all about this here
I’m far from being an expert, but my understanding is that a trans male was born in a female body which doesn’t ’fit’ rather than the male body that feels right. Trans females are the opposite scenario.
Some people have top surgery, some have bottom surgery, some have both, some have no surgery, it depends on the individual.
Like most sexual orientations or inclinations trans is a very wide spectrum.
I’m not trans so I may be completely wrong here but as I understand it transgender people identify as a different gender to the one they were assigned at birth.
It is not the same as sexuality. Trans people may be heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual or asexual.
Trans people may use hormone replacement therapy or gender affirming surgery to help with any gender dysphoria they may experience but many do not.
Usually trans is basically transitioning so depending on the individual it’ll either be a man going through the changes to be a woman or a woman becoming a man.
Anatomy part is kinda a grey subject as of yet from what I know there isn’t a definitive surgery what can put a fully working dick on a chick or a vagina on a male, but the advances are more onward for turning a penis into a vagina as your taking away something rather than adding on… needless to say that don’t mean all trans people go through with this final surgery as it’s by far the more riskiest with no guarantees they’ll be happy after it… numerous men who’ve become women have regrets getting their penis turned into a vagina as the sexual pleasure side isn’t much of a fulfilment if the nerves aren’t don’t successfully.
For women becoming men, the surgery leaves many scars and don’t give them a natural functioning penis as have to use a pump to inflate an erection and I think they also don’t hold the capability to ejaculate or climax normally either… there it a type of surgery where they keep the vagina for pleasure but also have a constructed penis to use for aesthetics…
I get what you are trying to say. I was in the same boat a few years ago.
Easy way I remember: trans means transitioning to
So a trans man is usually someone transitioning to be a man.
A trans woman is usually someone transitioning to be a woman.
Hope that helps
Sometimes people just say “trans” and don’t say which one. Sometimes there are exceptions. But for like 90% of the time that’s what people mean.
