I was always taught that women’s sex drive diminished as they got older and “dried up”. However I have found the opposite! My sex drive has increased, and suddenly I am not as hung up and embarrassed about my sexuality as I used to be. Previous partners always shamed me for masturbation and sex toy use, but my husband is really supportive and encourages me. I feel like a new woman. Has this been the case for anyone else?

Your not alone. I’ve found the older I get, the higher my sex drive has become.
I was chatting last week with a few friends, over lunch, when one of them mentioned, all her husband wants is sex, she then concluded by saying one orgasm a month was enough for her.
She looked in disbelief when I told her I have one most days and often that isn’t enough 
Masturbation is healthy in my opinion and is nothing to be embarrassed by. I say embrace it.

Not boasting, but I’m 64 and Mrs Balls is 60, we’re having more sex, better sex, kinkier sex and actually now have the balls to say and ask what we want. And it’s a surprise to us both what the asks have been. We have a rule, if you can call it that. Neither of us will get offended by a suggestion, as long as neither of us get upset if it’s rejected. So far not many rejections and plenty of new experiences. And may it continue. It’s all about talking.

I was always told women don’t enjoy sex, so why rush to lose my virginity since sex would be so mediocre anyway?
Had sex for the first time at 18, soon discovered I’d rather get laid than drunk or high. I’m 37, and undoubtedly much more open sexually than some of my peers

In my opinion a womans sex drive increases when she is nearing the end of her body’s ability to get pregnant, sort of a final fling sort of thing. Menopause normally then hits mid to late forties and then hormones are all over the place and sex drive goes up and down and for some disappears completely. Fortunately post menopause it can come back, it did for me and i am now 66 but there were 15 years of misery before it did.

Hrt was not something i wanted to risk. Seen too many women go down this route and end in disaster after a few years.

Yes both eyes done now. First one was a breeze but second one was 
put it this way if i had that one done first i would not be looking forward to the second one being done. Just glad its over and looking forward to getting back to normal.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, I’m glad that I was put to sleep as I was told it was too dangerous to do it while I was awake, being I was young and the membrane was more delicate, but there was a higher chance of going blind

I felt the same at 48 
Ive put it down partially to menopause , as it can increase some women’s sex drive , but also just confidence with age - I know what I want and am not afraid to ask for it!
