šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ UK Special Offers, Top Sale Picks and DOTD

They’re a Lovehoney brand, so they do appear more often than non-lovehoney brands. Though because of the FSOG licence fee they do tend to be more expensive in the first place. :slightly_smiling_face: Sometimes there’s the same model of toy in another brand (eg happy rabbit) that can be a little cheaper, so that’s worth keeping an eye out for. :+1:

But with the new website, and the new special offer rules, and a new loyalty scheme in the pipeline, its anyone’s guess as to what the future offers will be like. :slightly_smiling_face:

Exciting times. I never contemplated the offers and loyalty scheme would change. I just about remember the spend £50 a year to open up more perks, earlier deals, bigger percentages off products, better birthday discounts ex-etera.
I’ll be checking other sections, perhaps desire will have something similar.

Oh my life, dotd looks beautiful :star_struck:

The nubbin on the end is the real star. :slightly_smiling_face:

I can so imagine that to be true, multifunctional I’d imagine, big bullet/wand? Bet this wand beats most. Is it powerful enough? If the answers yes I’m all in

I think I may have to treat myself, I was eyeing this up a few days ago but now the price is right

I don’t think it’s as powerful as a mains-powered wand, but it’s one of Mrs Chimp’s favourites nonetheless. :slightly_smiling_face: She finds the plug-in wands a bit too industrial for her (too hot, too heavy, too loud) and prefers the medium-sized rechargeable ones instead (top 3: Mantric, Desire, TC Squishy wand). As long as the frequency is right (rumbly) then she doesn’t mind the drop in power - especially if they have a little extra twist as well, like the Desire nubbin, or the liquid silicone squish of the TC wand.

I have one of the older style classic mains powered wands and I got it out the other night, switched it on - then turned it right back off again.

I just felt it was so dam loud, plus I don’t think it needs to be ā€˜that’ strong!

I do also love the look of the black mantric one though

I love the Mantric wand! My
first wand, which OH bought for me from that South American river company, was too strong for me on all settings (numbing). It put me off wands a bit.
The Mantric one is more rumbly and plenty strong enough. I like the ergonomic shape of it too

I’m thinking you own a hella lot of toys, have you tried Lelo wand 2? The bigger one? I could cope with it if it’s as strong as the smaller one.
This beautiful looking purple piece of magic does have all the other features, rumbly, easier than the mechanical build of mains powered so I’m going for it, I was going to get the mantric but this price has me stargazing :star_struck: thanks for the info, helpful as ever

@Alyssa646 I actually don’t own any other wands and people keep raving about them so I’m dying to get one that I actually enjoy.

I really love the look of this wand though - so many amazing reviews and the colour is to die for!!

I’m not a massive fan of this one, it was too heavy, bulky and awkward to use easily for me. I actually used the happiness promise on it.

It is gorgeous and nice to use! I picked it up as a DotD a long time ago

This arrived yesterday - 60% off in the sale and you can use your unlimited discount too so even cheaper! Review below as still haven’t seen any that I’ve left in the last couple of weeks go live and not sure how long this will still be in stock!

"I really wanted to give this 5 stars but sadly couldn’t for two reasons. One specifically related to the design of the toy and one specifically related to the design of me.

I was originally drawn to this not just because it was in the sale with a serious price reduction but because, being larger than average down below, I’ve always struggled to find similar toys with enough ā€˜room to move’ without feeling like my circulation was being cut off. Having read several of the the existing reviews bemoaning the apparent wider size of this stroker it sounded ideal for someone in my situation.

On arrival the presentation of this was excellent. A sleekly designed box, simple instructions, easy usb charging and the product itself looks and feels great. The device itself is rigid on one side with a flexible bottom to allow a firmer grip if needed and the ability to vary sensations during play. The control buttons are well placed and easy to access when in use. There’s a variety of vibration patterns and speeds to choose from as well as a very enjoyable warming function which feels fantastic when combined with a good dose of water based lube. The ā€˜turbo’ button is an interesting option, boosting power when pushed to help achieve the desired end result. Cleaning is easy. Just run under a tap (you may need to use a bath/shower if your sink is shallow) and then spray with your toy cleaner of choice and air dry. All in all a well made and very effective product and a bargain price as it’s currently on sale.

So why not 5 stars?

As mentioned previously it’s for two reasons. As others have pointed out this is by no means a quiet toy. And by that I mean it’s loud. This may not be suitable for those wanting something discreet, whether you live at home, share your property with others, live in a new build with thin walls or have neighbours that aren’t stone deaf and who complain about the volume of your TV. If using this at the end of a busy, stressful day, they may well complain about you undertaking DIY late at night - even if you effectively are in a manner of speaking. Definitely more suited to those living in detached houses. With good sound insulation. In the middle of the countryside.

The second reason I can’t give this 5 stars isn’t really any fault of the product itself. Despite as others have pointed out, it being wider and larger than many similar toys it still wasn’t quite big enough for me to enjoy complete free movement. I couldn’t get the to to fully cover my length and whilst the opening is certainly wide enough it does taper off at the other end restricting full entry. That said it certainly did the job and has come as close as possible to being a good fit for me. There’ll definitely be a sweet spot size wise where this will be perfect for someone. If you’re slightly, rather than seriously above average and not ridiculously girthy then that could well be you. Think of it as Cinderella’s slipper. For those that it fits like a glove you’re guaranteed ā€˜happy ever after’."

 had to see the sex swing for myself @Cupc8kes  are you talking about the dots? I’m not even attempting to link it in as I’d probably link a WhatsApp or something :see_no_evil: that’s the thing with mains powered, you know that you’re neighbor’s are expecting the wall to come down from a super drill wherever they’re called. They aren’t pretty either are they? Mine gets used for massage alone, it really helps to ease muscle pain which we both suffer from, although holding it for too long is difficult and theres the overheating you have to monitor too.
@Silkyhat I’ve been looking at the mantric for around a week now, it’s definitely getting snapped up in the near future. Starting to wonder if two Wands in one order would be okay? The problem being I’ve no discount code to bump the price down
@ian_chimp I can live with it not being as strong as mains powered as the beloved Lelo wasnt but those rumbles were to die for :star_struck: sold, only to decide what else to order

When that review gets published it should be considered for Review of the month! @Rob36 - I wish i’d left such a good review for that product. I like you didn’t get on with it…i’m just ā€œaverageā€ and it was a stuggle for me! But as you said…might be perfect for others (if they have an sound-proofed escape room to use it in!)
