It’s something I’ve been meaning to try for a very long time but never got round to doing.
It’s something I’ve just started trying (I’m male) and there’s a fair bit of sounding porn out there (male and female) but it freaks my wife out just watching me insert anything so there’s no chance of her giving it a try. I think generally women are blessed with more common sense.

Everyone to their own…lots of men and women out there get huge enjoyment from it. From medical roleplay to just wanting to try everything out there.
Not tried it but seen porn clips with it in. I don’t fancy it myself… a catheter was bad enough…but I’m a great believer in don’t knock something until you try it. (at least twice)

Yes fair enough to those who are brave enough to try out these things, I think I just find it too scary.

I find them really intriguing for medical play.
I kind of want to try it but I’m not 100% sure.
This is just one of those things I can’t understand. Each to their own of course but for me it doesn’t look pleasurable in any sense.
There’s a plastic spexulum on sale if it’s something you’re curious about why not give it a try!

I’d consider trying sounding on myself but I’m very prone to UTI and bladder infections, so rather not risk it

Tried it and enjoyed it, but didn’t enter bladder. As Women are differently built, not sure what risks are involved as i think the lack of a penis means the bladder is much nearer if that makes sense? Whatever you decide, steel sounds are much easier to sterilise, and go in smoother. But above all be hygienic, hands, sound etc.
The main differences are:
- Shorter urethra means more chance of a UTI
- More chance of going into the bladder (not a no go zone but not everyone is in to that feeling even if they like sounding plus risks involved with damaging the bladder.)
- Thinner urethra so need to start with thinner toys (combined with above, penis plugs are often a better option than sounds to start, alternatively rose bud sounds)
- Insertion is a little trickier as can’t hold urethra upright to use gravity to help you insert
- Being aroused is more of a necessity than it is for sounding a penis

This is a hard no for me. I’ve had a couple of catheters and a scope up there and had horrible anxiety until they were removed. I just couldn’t do it on purpose.
I have used sounds for a few years now I have a prince Albert so it is similar. I use stainless steel sounds as they are easy to clean and use. It is a set that increases in size by 1 mm from 2 mm to 15 mm, but that is too big for me. I have some flexible rubber sounds but they are not comfortable to insert as they seem to have increased friction compared to the steel.
I have gone into the bladder but not with rubber sounds. I have used electric play with sounds but find it difficult to pinpoint the stimulation. Not sure how it would work with female sounding. The increase in size is nice but it is not something I do very often.
I’ve used sounds on me and had them used on me. I do enjoy it, although it is an occasional treat in our case, not a regular thing. I find to feels nice to feel something in there. I’m not into stretching, but I am into feeling it filled. It is also a massive trust thing in allowing someone else to do it to you. Lots of lovely feelings and hormones is what it is all about.
It’s been a while but I’ve used them with my wife and used them myself it’s quite a kink seeing it slide inside her then the twitch as it pokes her bladder, I’ve got a hollow sound just not used it with her, I’ve had some quite large ones in me like the dia of a AA battery don’t have any long ones at mo but ordered a long silicone one to try on me that’s also hollow .
It didn’t hurt my wife and she knows what a kink I get out of allowing me to push the boundary try it and try putting a vibrator on the rod once in place?
Massively in to sounding myself, currently on a 16mm sound but think thats as far as my penis will go, I’ve done a lot of sounding research and whilst female sounders are few and far between due to the different make up of female urethra they can be stretched to a lot more larger sizes, there are a few female sounders out there that can actually have sexual penetration in the urethra they’ve been able to stretch it that much. Just heard all the female LH kinksters wince!!
