I would agree that there seems to be a need for a thread about secret public stimulation. :)
I think if you search the threads and take the time to read through, a few people have mentioned which ones they've got and what they thought of them. I only know because I had asked them the same questions!!! The frustrating bit is reading through then. It would also help to know which vibe you are thinking of using.

I've got the first one you mentioned, and it does the job! Some people have reported public orgasms from it, although I can't orgasm without clit stimulation as well. It's still a very nice and naughty sensation though!
I had a look at the other one you said but there doesnt seem an awful lot of difference between the two. The main thing is the distance. If you want to pay an extra £14 for the extra 15 feet it gives you then that's up to you. Personally, I dont think it's worth it, you could get a whole other toy for that!
