Valentines Day

In honesty, I don't think we will be doing anything 😥

We are going away next weekend for what I hope will be a sex filled hot tub weekend in Anglesey, and we are going to a cottage in Wales for 5 days at the start of March for my OH's birthday, so funds will not stretch to Valentine's Day too.

My advice is to plan something for the schmonday after schmalentines as always the flowers will be super cheap in the schmupermarket

Yes we aren't celebrating it on the 14th as we can't get babysitters for that day. So the price of the hotel is cheaper then it would be on actual valentines night when they bump the price up ridiculously

Perhaps you should buy yourself a valentines gift ;) x

Nothing at all. It's my wedding anniversary the week before so since we got married we don't do anything for valentines but try to get away for a few days around our anniversary instead.

Well, not a big fan, but we do stick with the horde and do something society expects us to do as a couple in love... My post above was just about timing. So on Feb. 15th threads will appear about plans for Easter then? Disclaimer: not trying to argue or be negative, just my (realistic) opinion. :)

Being one of those "single for life" people, I just try to pretend days like Valentine's don't exist. At. All.

Where keeping it low key i will probably just cook a romantic meal at home and wear something sexy! March is my birthday so we tend to keep it low key and in april it willbe our 10 year wedding anniversary so we much more funand important things to celebrate this year!

Haven't got anything planned but we are saving our money to move out together :)

Last year I got a card (love it!), some beautiful flowers in a vase (I have kept the vase!) and some choccies. I felt thoroughly spoiled and this year I'd like to make my OH feel the same way! I just want him to know that he is loved so, so much!

I do think Valentine's Day is waaaay overcomercialised! You should let your OH you love them all year :)

Probably me time and waiting for the 15th to come! Haha

I haven't started planning yet but would like to purchase some new sexy lingerie for my OH to enjoy. Time to start looking through LH for the perfect outfit I think.
