Valentines Day

Nothing really. As it's a Sunday the latest we should finish work is 6pm so once the kids are in bed we may cook a nice meal, run a bubble bath and see where the evening leads! We don't have anyone that could have the kids, and our youngest is still in our room (and a ridiculously light sleeper) so we're limited to what we can do 😓

Probably our favourite Italian restaurant.

Cosy night in. We'll probably watch bad movies. I might treat him to his favourite take away or cook his favourite meal as I don't do food, so a fancy dinner at a restaurant is off the cards!

Last year I got a card. We'll probably end up going to the cinema as we do most weekends and that's it. I don't have high hopes for much to be honest.

My hotel is booked and a meal all set I can`t wait

Why not after lay on a romantic late night supper and share the cooking responsibilities. I bet M & S will be doing some special meals.

Just an idea.

We both cook really well. It would just be like a regular night in all fairness. Just with how I've been feeling with him lately, I would just be happy to feel appriciated and desired! It's our 2 year aniversary today, he is at work for the night, and I got a card, but honestly I'm feeling less and less desired the longer we have been together.

Things could pick up you are problably having a bit of a relationship downer like me at the moment.

Just see if you can get things on track again for Valentines day.

It sucks.

It's his birthday the week before Valentines and it can become expensive, but I don't want to do anything sexy like I would like to as I would feel I am the one initiating it again.

I don't see that being a problem as long as he appreciates your effort as I would if my Mrs organised something. . But there is more chance of finding a unicorn horn than my Mrs taking the lead.lol

someone not a fan of the holiday? Lol x
Well, not a big fan, but we do stick with the horde and do something society expects us to do as a couple in love... My post above was just about timing. So on Feb. 15th threads will appear about plans for Easter then? Disclaimer: not trying to argue or be negative, just my (realistic) opinion. :)
Oh I see. I'm one of those awful people that talk about christmas in October I'm afraid lol! With valentines I do think about it early though as don't want everywhere to get booked up.

I haven't started planning yet but would like to purchase some new sexy lingerie for my OH to enjoy. Time to start looking through LH for the perfect outfit I think.

I'm hoping they might bring a new collection out in time for valentines day :)

To be honest if I had left things up to my partner to organise he probably wouldn't have done. Some men need a nudge in the right direction. I hope he does something special for you as you deserve xx

Thats what I said and I cant wait ,it can not come quick enough

Just chilling at home, maybe cooking something nice idk. Not sure about sexy time, it's been a bit difficult lately. Valentine's Day isn't really a big deal for us to be honest :)

Hahaha, don't worry, I love (most) holidays, just not too early on LOL! When living in Italy we used to go to Verona for Valentine's, the city of Romeo and Juliet mind you, always full of tourists, so just imagine the flood on this particular day, and we still managed to find decent reastaurants without previous booking for dinner. Guess we were just lucky...

Wow that must have been a lovely way to spend it (aside from the flocks of tourists). last year we ended up at the local pub because we left it too late to book anywhere decent :( definitely won't be happening this year, I will probably be the first to book this time lol

Booked a table at our favourite Italian restaurant. Lovely place, lovely attentive staff. Relaxing red atmosphere.

Ah, the wonders of the search bar!
