We have the Mantric Knicker Vibe. I love it, not had it that long as I bought it on DOTD a couple of months back. I love it though. Much more effective than Love Eggs.
Testing it at home before going out I thought it was going to be way too loud to use outside the house but actually out in bars it’s definitely not heard and was a lot of fun. Didn’t move much and a little seat wiggle (rather than fishing about with hands down pants!) was all that was required to hit the sweet spot. No problem with losing connectivity to the remote. Ran out of battery after a couple of hours but I can’t really blame it for that. Definitely top notch foreplay.

Also, ie the butt plugs, the smallest ones on the site are from Rocks Off. This is the smallest (circumference wise), but they are on the longer side and silicone which can hold onto smells. The next smallest is probably the Rear Assets small/small (which are also quite short in length) followed by the smallest sizes of the Lovehoney plugs 
which are all metal. Most of the vibrating plugs (with an internal vibe and not a bullet attached) don’t start until around a 4" circumference so maybe try some others out before getting there

Ah, then there’s plenty of options The medium metal plugs are nice and weighty, there are also quite a few nice glass ones which can be beautiful works of art, and of course silicone (vibrating and non) I’m sure myself and others in the plug club could recommend quite a few if you have an idea of a circumference or type you’re interested in

I think I’d like a glass one or a vibrating one. I can’t say I liked the dildo but I think I would like a plug. Nothing too big right now as I’m starting off. Anything vibrating sounds like fun

Sadly the smallest glass plug is 3.75", but it depends where you’re starting from I see you were eyeing a silicone plug, which is also a good idea as it’s got a t-bar base, but I can’t offer much opinion on silicone as they aren’t my preferred choice I personally love the metal and glass for my non-vibrating plugs as cleanup and prep is minimal, sadly only vibrating ones on the site are silicone Welcome to the club
