I went to see the state of our local supermarket and it seemed like most of the town had descended upon it.
It’s scary to think we can survive a day without the replenishment of food stocks.

Just remembered…last year on Boxing Day i drove past Farmfoods on the way to relatives. It was open and there were people going in with trolleys. Isn’t the point of Farmfoods that most of their products are frozen and priced to fill freezers?

Been up and about for a couple of hours. Saw Pen off to work. Been watching news on TV with a couple of cuppas. Mr W has to leave late tonight to start his journey back abroad for work … until he gets up I can do a bit of tidying up…

Having a lay in this morning with my cuppa. It’s been raining all night and still is now. It’s also a Bank Holiday here today, so no rush to get up.
The window is open for fresh air so the bedroom is a tad chilly…still, the duvet is nice and snug

Sounds like I would enjoy it there … especially with the general weather, although today sounds you have the same as here, pouring rain since I got up. I’ve been checking email and doing bits of work over the holidays. The joys of being self employed. My clients seem to be back today and are panicking about deadlines. Good job some of us are capable of planning It is all ready. Just a question now of how long I let them panic
