Just been watching 2.75 hours of my recorded television programmes …… just making 6th cuppa and Pen still driving the pigs home. If Pen sticks to usual routine I have another hour to myself, so a bit more of the recordings …… hope you all have a fantastic day and make sure you stay safe my darlings

I’m the other extreme @Wurger got up and dressed by 9.15 and sat catching up with the forum, had 1 coffee and now nearly 11.00. Now need to make plans for the day, stay safe and warm. Enjoy your weekend.

Well, Pen only just beat you getting up @steve19 but she was far ahead on cuppas by 1100. We had decided to go to Whipsnade, but on the way Pen diverted to Dunstabubble Downs ……. we had made some sandwiches and a couple of thermos flasks. We sat on the Downs and enjoyed the views and then Pen said she wanted to have a go in one of the planes that were flying about. She googled it on her phone and found out how to get to the place ….. and an hour later she was finding out all about a gliding course …… we are going back in Spring to book her in ……. hope you and Mrs Steve had a great day love xx

Gliding course sounds very exciting. I hate heights so would never be able to do it. Would you have gone to the zoo at Whipsnade? Have a fun day tomorrow . @Wurger

So very sorry to hear of your Grandad @ChloJakes we don’t have too many Grandparents - this won’t help much at the present but one day the lovely memories will overcome your present feelings …. hugs and love from us 3 darling xxx xxx xxx

Yes, Pen was pretty sold on the idea of gliding about, I said she should try that when we make love instead of charging about like a rabid male Water-Buffalo as she usually does …. Pen could teach you to handle heights @steve19 
…. we did originally think of going to Whipsnade but Pen got so interested in the aircraft when we parked up for our picnic at Dunstabubble or was it Ivanhoe? I dunno, I get lost in a car when somebody else drives - Pen said Zoo next time in the Spring, the animals will have more to show, dunno what she meant …. anyway besides catching up on here, I have been watching my recorded programmes and supping char until the budding Squadron Leader Pen gets out her pit ….. have a great day @steve19 xxxx and everybody, but please stay safe loves xxx

I’m sure Pen could teach me a lot more than dealing with heights @Wurger If she is the Squadron Leader are you the Air Chief Marshall. The idea of flying in a glider sounds great and you should both do it. Forget the zoo, you know what a monkey looks like and the zebra’s don’t have much to say. Having a very easy day today (like most days) but out for lunch soon.

Ooh I don’t know @steve19 …… Pen already decided I am to be her ground crew - scrambling about getting her equipment ready she said 
not that it usually needs getting ready, its usually ready before anything else we have already spoken about joining the Mile High Club, but I don’t know if it would be viable in a side-by-side glider ….. trouble is I would prefer to be in a powered plane as opposed to a glider, but we will see ……. enjoy your lunch and the rest of the day love xxxx

Oh yes, @JGood that is exactly what Pen was thinking about - I know that because of what Pen was talking about when we still thought we were going to the Whipsnade - she even took a tape measure in her handbag, dopey cow …… how she thought she could get close enough and then actually use it, goodness only knows, but thats Pen love xx
