Just in from a walk with the dog, the sun is out, it’s relatively mild and there’s a hint of spring in the air. Definitely a mood lifter!

Meeting a tight deadline at work. Lots of pressure early on but by 4pm it was pretty clear we were going to make it. The bulk of the work was done and just the i’s to dot and t’s to cross. I have confidence in my developers so I could relax a little and have a bit of fun with them, dangling the prospect of a big thumbs up tantalisingly ahead before finally passing with five to spare.
Even work can be fun when I approach it the right way

Finishing decorating my landing. Don’t think it had been done in 30 - 40 years, had to strip woodchip paper and paint from the door frames and floor. I just used paint I already had for the make over. I must admit I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out.
I also thought that with taking a picture to post up here (mainly to show @Gazza_64 the black banisters), I can use it to see how new door handles will look, cut and pasting over the top. That made me smile too, realising what a ‘brilliant’ idea I just had!

@Melody1 as long as you are happy with it is the main thing mate your well being is all I can ask for, anything that makes you happy is good for me

Seeing an offer somewhere that had an item in the sale at £9.99 from £24.99 plus also being part of a 2 for £40 offer 
Am ridiculously tempted to put 2 in my basket and head to the checkout to see what I’d be charged!
EDIT: it comes up at £40 instead of £19.98
