Thanks!
Another up/down day so let’s get the positives down:
A day off!
The lovely, and very attractive
, worker in my local shop who made small talk but was very sweet and considerate. I also heard him debating with another colleague whether bread is considered an essential item. They went quite in depth. It made me smile.
I’ve ticked off a few to-do items on my list. Little achievements.
I made dinner from scratch and there’s loads left over.
My OH is home from work tomorrow and we get to spend the weekend together ![]()
As of now I’m mostly done with my uni exams (today is the 3rd 24 hour exam I’ve had this week, only 1 left and that one’s next term). I just need to edit and submit today’s
Go Ace!
Taking a nice long bath with a gift from my friend, thinking about the thank you note I’m going to write
The sun is shining today!
As covid and we wait for some “interesting” stuff to come to light about our election , the stress has been too high . Several days ago we had a surprise wind / rain storm that knocked out our power and internet . I got to run our generator and fire up our wood stove . Also contact our neighbor who is battling stage 4 liver cancer to see if she needed anything . As a former rescue person , I rather enjoy things like that , brings me to life . Also to get to use the stuff and knowledge the things I have to handle such things . If we just could have had a cold snap and a bunch of snow so I could use my snowblower tractor it would have been perfect .
I’m not a big sports fan but today my two favourites added cheer to my day: Sailing and Basketball. Sadly not participating but good all the same. Watching Team UK win the first two races of the Prada Cup series under blue, covid free New Zealand skies brought back the thrill of being on water with the warm salty sea splashing your face as you skim across the waves, powered only by the wind. Then later, with scores tied and 1.6 seconds left in the game, my local basketball team inbounded and released a shot a fraction before time expired to swish for the win. Good Times.
Realising I’ve only got 2 hours left till I finish work
Woken up by OH with her mouth
wrapped around my cock what a lovely way to be woken up
• Waking up after 10am
• Opening the curtains to clear blue sky
• Spending time in the open air.
After a tough week at work, I was exhausted, so it was good to catch up on sleep. It’s been so gloomy weather wise lately too, that to wake up to unexpected sunshine was a real bonus. I’m a big believer in ‘blue sky therapy’ so I spent the first half hour of my day just lying back in bed and taking it the view out of the windows. Working from home, the 9 to 5 has trapped me indoors during daylight hours so being back in the garden was precious.
And although it maybe still a long way ahead, shirt off in the garden to harvest the vitamin D, the promise of Spring was tangible in the air
A lovely hot chocolate with squirty cream. I am trying hard to eat right but everything in moderation so I indulged! Plus being vegan it’s hard to find a good hot chocolate!

Team UK winning again to go 4 nil up in their latest bid to break sport’s longest losing streak - 170 years in the America’s Cup!
(and in a repeat of Friday my local Basketball team won too in another close game)
Realising that the two wood pigeons on my telephone line aren’t just randoms I’ve been seeing for the past couple of weeks but inseparable love birds , nesting in my trees. I even spied them dancing the tango earlier ![]()
@Delightful87: sounds good - you have me craving now - I normally make mine with Oatmilk - really creamy (from cocoa powder)
@Melody1 that’s so cute! We have some blue tits in the garden (no not mine, actual birds ![]()
) they neared a couple years ago but a magpie attacked their nest and ate their babies
so we are pleased to see they are back! We built them a more secure bird nesting box too so fingers crossed we will see babies in the next couple years.
Yes we love oat milk, proper creamy and yummy in hot chocolate or cheese sauce alike! Yummy ![]()
Not at all bragging or boasting but had a wonderful letter informing me that I will getting a cheque for just under £5000 owed to me that’s the OHs summer house sorted and my set of Drums
That’s great @Gazza_64!
It was a great way to start the day thanks @Delightful87 thanks
