Wife left her purse in a shopping basket at Asda. We got home before she realised and drove back with fingers crossed that we weren’t going to spend the evening cancelling cards. Her purse had been handed into customer services by a customer. Great to see that there are still wonderful honest people in the world.

My neighbour posted some cold and flu tablets through my door this morning since I’m isolating and can’t go and get any. It’s great to have such lovely neighbours. I’ve certainly got to know lots more of them this year.

Being able to sit back in the garden, close my eyes and feel the sun on my face, hearing nothing but the birds singing. It’s been so peaceful today and fills me with a lot of comfort.
