I finished work at 10pm and went straight from there to a local pub with my OH where we met a handful of my colleagues for a leaving do for our team leader. Really lovely to be around them but away from work. I was initially hesitant to go as had come straight from work but I’m so glad I went. Little bit tipsy and very happy.

Great evening. Me and the OH went to a bar in town last night too! First time since before lockdown… left before it filled up and went to get fish and chips but so nice to be normal again

Just got back from a multi day camping ( in motor home ) and adventure riding my motorcycle with a riding buddy in an area near Mount Saint Helens that I had never ridden before . My best friend sent me happy post of a beautiful purple butterfly suncatcher from a small company we both use for jewellery and trinkets and similar to cheer me up while I was having to isolate and cancel plans with her last week.

Recognition is what cheered me up.
As a lot of you know, I’m a hair stylist and run my own business. Believe it or not, the world of styled hair is a constantly changing, adapting and evolving game. With literally every single girl in Love Island now having full hair extensions, I decided I should perhaps train and qualify in providing this service too. Back to school for this Bunny, and as my parents always still tell me, “every days a school day”.
I’ve just turned 30 but the rest of my class is a bunch of 19-20 year old girls. We don’t have much in common believe it or not, so I keep myself to myself mostly and haven’t really learned any of their names. Every once in a while one of them will call me by my name to ask me something, which feels pretty good… followed by a bit of shame for not knowing their name.
Anyway, just being recognised and known feels amazing. I’ll definitely reciprocate this by learning their names better
