@SteelA1 I was just replying to your post and you e deleted it. I just wanted to give my own experience.
I was in a loveless marriage for many years. Five years ago I got diagnosed with breast cancer, treatment and numerous operations later, I too felt that this was my lot in life, who would want me anyway now! However, 2 years after the diagnosis, something started to change in me and I became to think that there’s one life I have, and I’m lucky to still have it so live it I will. It took balls to leave a 21 year marriage, with 4 daughters, and if you’ve read my other thread, it isn’t all easy by any means. But, I have a partner who I adore and who adores me, scars and all, we really do only have one life, and no one knows how long for, so live it, don’t regret it! Xx

@Rhilee sorry for deleting it! I just didn’t want to get on anyone else’s nerves or upset anyone! I’ll just do what I’ve always done snd just keep it to myself again! thank you for committing! I’m glad you found it in you to leave and go find youre happiness! Glad you’re illness is behind you also!
If something is meant to change for me then maybe it’ll happen, if it’s doesn’t then it’s fine

Not exactly cheering up but the heavy rain on my windows is so comforting after all the hot dry weather safe inside my house.
Rain gives life.

I work in a school so am currently on summer break, I love sitting in bed early in the morning with a cuppa, listening to the world wake up through the window! Especially knowing I don’t have to go to work myself!!!

The rain is cheering me up 
I’ve been at the gym since 7.30 and just got back and showered. I’m now giving my legs a rest and listening to soothing sounds of the rain outside 
Not so soothing when you’re caught in it though

The fact that, thanks to several conveniently placed trees, I’ve just managed to schlep a trolley full of groceries all the way back home from ALDI, in a downpour, without getting too badly soaked.

Yep, the rain is making me happy too, it’s so nice to clear the air and my garden will really appreciate it too. The smell of rain on the ground after the hot, humid weather we’ve had is lovely
