On my way home from a parents evening decided to call in our local my Mrs for the first time in 20months ! Me to bar person martini with lemonade ice and lemon plz bar person, I have a single shot left in the bottle but we sell them by the double so I don’t know how I’d sell you that ? My Mrs suggests just give it me then ! Bar person not sure if I can id have to charge you though! Ok I said charge me for the lemonade then ! And away we go a free drink for the Mrs and a little bit of cheek works wonders lol made me and the Mrs smile happy days

Mr John made me smile today. Volunteering to help my folks with some jobs this weekend, then suggested we all have an evening meal together.
I love that he really is like another child (grown) to them.

I lucked out on a complementary last three quarters of a pint or so from the barrel a couple of weeks ago too. It was a guest beer so no barrel to change and I might already have drunk a fair bit of that one.
