My wife and I have been working to get her pain reduced this year . Some very limited success . She needs a hip replaced ASAP , but needs to lose some weight first . Due to the government’s drive to reduce street drugs they have been reducing the amount of pain drugs patients can get . Currently there seems to be an extreme shortage of a higher strength time release medication . The last prescription her pain doctor wrote we were looking forward to has been out of stock all over our region . However she received a new drug that is suppose to help her low dose pain med work better . She was nervous and finally tried it yesterday and it totally killed her pain for over two hours ! That is the first two hours pain free she has had in over 10 years . As a side note , she felt a bit horny for the first time in a long time ! A small win , but it did us both good and lifted our spirits . That may assist in her being able to move a bit more and lose some weight so she can get her hip replaced . Yay yay yay !

I’m sure it was a massive relief for your wife to experience life with no pain after such a long time! I can’t remember what state you’re in but does it allow medical marijuana?

Yes , we spent several thousand dollars trying vape , joint and CBD products . Pretty much zero good results . Washington state BTW .

I’ve never found CBD oil to be effective, its a pity the marijuana didn’t work for her, but happy she had a few hours to feel pain-free.

I have a week off work, my first since between Christmas and New Year last year and it makes me very happy to have a bit of time to chill.
