Returning home after 3 weeks on holiday in Italy. The trees, and birds, the water down below us. Nice to feel comfortable here in our recently new place.

Sitting watching the birds on my bird feeders, the hierarchy and politics between the Starlings, Sparrows and Wood Pigeons is hilarious! My mum had a Jay in her garden yesterday and as she lives only a couple of streets away, i’m hoping i get one too!

We get a lot of birds at our new house in the wood. There is an oxbow of a stream just below us, and we get to see the ducks and geese flying through. It is a much more relaxing place than our previous home on a busy street.

Well after 9 months from switching my energy supplier they have managed to sort out my gas account …
Just a huge bill £800+ for gas … least i kept paying my DD so dont owe that much

That happened to us. We had a conversation with them, asking for a payment plan and a reduction as the issue wasn’t our fault, and they made an offer of both that we accepted. Worth a try.

Having a somewhat odd spring here . We have had a warm day every once in a while , generally warmer than normal and less rain than normal . Finished getting all the garden in and much has started growing . After cleaning and filling the pond , many birds have been bathing . One day I counted 11 robins having a bath party . This time of the year the lawn grows crazy amounts , mow about every week or so . A lot of work , but damn it looks good . Life is good .

We had a very dry summer and my lush, green lawn was a frazzled, bare mess. It’s looking much better now after patching up with seed and some tlc!
Got some sunflowers to plant that I’ve grown from seed, some traditional one’s and some that look very alien. It’ll be interesting to see how they turn out!

Finally got all our work totally finished about 25 minutes ago, so all the boys are now drifting off according to train times etc… I will dangle on a coathook behind the door just in case something comes in this afternoon…
Yes the Prowl was great because the currant did come out @steve19 and yes lots on display, so Pen will not need to ask what I want this evening… Mr W has kept changing his next visit because the Client keeps amending Programmes and Completion Dates, all very frustrating I would imagine and yes @steve19 you are right … I hope that you and Mrs steve and everybody else all have great weekends darling xxxx … Pen and I have decided on Japanese tomorrow evening… hmmmm wonder if she will slide down the bannister to make that funny noise

Japanese sounds lovely, make sure the kimonos are worn and with reference to the Bullet train make sure you and Pen have a bullet each to use on each others clit. When you do this you can both thank the Japanese with a glass of nice wine. Have fun. @Wurger

Yep, we like the old Japanese delivered takeaway and dress accordingly @steve19 … usual rules, we know we will both be wearing “Kimono - style” dresses but what type, long/short and whatever else we choose is secret until we are both dressed, so could be any or no underwear, stockings, hold-ups, hair style/wig, any make-up etc, chopsticks or not, just feed ourselves or each other etc … yes, bullets as all other rechargeables will be fully charged, mains plugged in, heating well on… and yes wine, plobably velly lice wine you, Mrs steve and ecerybody else have fun too love xxxx

When I was young I would water and keep my lawn all lush and green through the driest summers . Quite a few years ago I let nature take over as far as watering goes . A brown lawn is a natural lawn , not to mention the water bill . Multiple times if you were caught it would be a fine . On the flip side I use considerable water in my pond and watering the vegetable garden .

Never water my lawn as we’re on a water meter and I only use a watering can to water my containers to keep the bill down. Last year was unusually dry for the U.K. for a couple of months hence the brown, bare lawn. It was heartbreaking cos in the spring I’d fed it regularly and got it looking lush!
So far this year it’s been wetter than usual!

Just a suggestion as we previously had 3 of them that connected to our down pipes at our old house. They come in handy over the dry season and saved our bills. Very similar to these but wasn’t as expensive. Great for collecting rain water
