I would urge you to consider other optionsif the cute penguin doesnt work out for you.
You may need more power than most people with your condition, i believe i foresee a strong corded wand in your future. 
I dont recommend wands to everyone, my wife gets numbed through overstimulation with most wands on lowest speed as it’s too much for her. They sound like a shoe in for you.

The best thing though is that some of them work very well during partnered sex too, a wand for example can be used during missionary, spooning, or doggie, though it can become heavy.

Things are going in the right direction, things are happening, but it’s still mild and brief even with my little pal on setting 7 out of 10. Maybe something stronger is key!
Do you become overly sensitive after you come? Ie: could you keep going and see if another one can be coaxed?

As mentioned earlier, i reckon a strong wand, corded or uncorded, might work well for you. Avoid the mini wands and the likes, go for something powerful and full size.
You might want to involve you partner in chosing one.
Not all wands are waterproof, something to bear in mind. Most corded wands (if not all?) Are not.
Also, vibe wise, it’s difficult to gauge what your preference would be, some or buzzy, some are rumbly. My wife loves low power rumbly, some love high power buzzy. There not all equals, it might be trial and error finding the right type of toy for you, and what works well with your lack of sensation/drugs you take to limit nerve pain.
I used to get overly sensitive afterwards, but not anymore, so more than one is definitely possible. I think it is going to very much be trial and error. I tried to include my husband in choosing but he didn’t seem keen. I think he’s fearful of not knowing what to go for, all part of the trial and error!
