Was supposed to be having a fakeaway KFC Rice Box (recipe from Pinch of Nom) but forgot to defrost chicken breast so had a sausage sandwich instead.

I did a chicken, chorizo and seafood paella.
Mr John suggested using langoustine. I ended up having to shell his for him. Apparently his big man hands weren’t able to.

For me, apart from a boiled egg it’s it needs shelling then it’s not supposed to be eaten :joy::joy: love chorizo though

We had chicken fajitas tonight!

I really fancy making baked meatballs in a tomato and cheese sauce tomorrow, so if anyone has a recipe they love, please share it!!

Mmmmmm, beef dripping. Homemade is the best - not that tasteless, wazzy stuff from the supermarket.

My Nan used to feed it to us on toast with a sprinkle of salt. Best lunch for a growing lass!

It’s Friday which means pizza night and DVD. Wee ones love it. Only chance all week to sit and chill.

Growing up there was always a bowl of dripping in the fridge, couldn’t stand it myself but yes I remember my dad having it spread on bread.

I have had a day off so was able to get to the fishmongers on delivery day for some sashimi grade tuna and salmon to make sushi

I’ve never had dripping, either on toast or not. I bet yours nans would put hairs on your chest. It sounds like a quick way to have a heart attack. @Baby_Jane

You’re right. It isn’t the healthiest but it was so damn tasty  We’d only be allowed one slice each though as there was only ever a small pot, and everyone wanted some. Nan made sure that me and my sis got in there first
