Sorry to jump in here - but my OH is also in the same boat (Perimenopause/Menopause) and likewise her drive had all be disappeared? Has she spoken to her docs about it at all? My OH is now on a patch and almost immediately it made a hhugendifferebce to how she felt…not specifically in a libido front…but it’s helped her in how she was feeling, which has in turn helped with our sex life….bot saying it’s a magic bullet but there is stuff she can do/have that might help her through it - which might also help you out

Thanks, yes she has been to the doctors and they did bloods and gave her HRT. But after reading that directions it put her off, which is fine because they are pretty scary and it’s her body.

Yeah - it’s not for everyone…after having two children through IVF my wife vowed to not put any more chemicals that weren’t needed in her body….however perimenopause was effecting her massively in so many ways, and the HRT has enabled her to get back on an even keel mentally/energy-wise. But I can fully empathise…there are plenty of holistic options too that may also help with less of the scariness. We found pills by Health and Her (i think that’s what they were called) were pretty good - they have pills for perimenopause and even some targeted for intimacy
But if all else fails just be there to support her (which I’m sure you are) - it’s a horrible time for some…hugs work most of the time too!
