But when we were young, were they proportionately expensive? If i remember correctly they were about £20 a pair when i was a teenager!

Maybe so mate @WillC how many pairs did you have I had shoes x2 black ox blood and 8 eye boots. X2 black oxblood didn’t bother me then lol youth it was also simply because it was the fashion as well !
