I really wish I could add to my wishlist discontinued items that are still available, for example: https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=44102
I can still add them to my cart without checking out, but it would be much easier for me to plan my next order if I could add them to a wishlist instead.
Plus, I share my wishlists with partners and friends and it's a hassle if I have to send separate links for each discontinued item I'm interested in.
Am I the only one who feels this way?
It just so happens that I've got a little workaround for that. 🙂
If you amend the link below and add the product code for the item you want to add to your wishlist in place of the final digits then should work. 👍 (I changed this one already to the item you linked above).

(You can get the product code by adding the item to your basket and you should be able to see it in there 🙂👍)

What kind of socery is this?! 
I've tried it before but I used the numbers in the product url instead (44102 for that dildo), not the item number (79507).

Though it would be much easier if they left the 'Add to Wishlist' button on the items marked to be discontinued. I'm not sure why it's taken out? I can't think of any benefit to losing it. It doesn't allocate any stock, and when an item does finally get discontinued then it's reflected in the wishlist. I think the 'hurry!... discontinued' text may just bump the button off the page.

I agree with you. Imo it would be better to have both the ''Hurry! This discontinued item won't be restocked!'' message AND the ''add to wishlist'' button.
Posted about this in the suggestions thread, hope someone from LH sees it and can make that small change to accomodate us. That would potentially lead to more sales, so it's a win-win.
