advice for beginner couple

Me and my gf have been talking and she is interested in purchasing a toy for her first time for us to use, would you have any advice on what to look for in a toy or a good toy to start with?

She is interested in been restrained too, maybe tied up. Would you have any good advice on if rope or restraints are better for beginners? Any tips on products?

I was in the same position as your OH just last year, I joked with my OH after watching 'The Ugly Truth' about how funny it would be to try remote control pants, so at xmas we got a remote control love egg and remote vibrating cock ring. It made it all quite light hearted, it was the best thing we ever did, we are getting quite a collection now.

If she is thinking about restrains I can highly recommend http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16308 I personally think rope and ties are a bit to much for first time as if you suddenly have that moment where you do feel uncomfortable its hard to get out of, where as these restraints hold you nicely but you can get out of quickly as they are only velcro.

Only other bit of advice I would give if you want to experiment is keep an open mind and talk to each other, will make finding the direction that suits you both so much easier and remeber it's not about what anyone else thinks it's about the both of you.

Your in great company in the forum some really helpful people I have found, good luck and have fun!

Do you know what she's interested in? Clitoral stimulation? Or G-spot?

I'm only just discovering G-spot stimulation myself (after years of using vibrators on my clitoris), and whilst it is amazing, there seems to be a little more to it.

So personally I think clitoral stimulation would be a good start, and maybe using something like this: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=27581

I have one and love it- and it's not a big scary dildo- just a cute little bunny! It feels amazing too. To start with the bondage, maybe something light and soft is the way to go and these happen to be on sale:

Although, if you want to get started immediately- scarves and ties work pretty well ;-)

Hope that helps- have fun!

I also have that toy and second what SR36 has said..

I started out with this bullet myself (again, not something big and scary):

But have since got this one which I think is my personal favourite, though everyone is different:

I hope you find something that works for you :)

I have this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=29338 and I think it would be a great toy for a beginner. I love it! I really couldn't recommend it highly enough!

I do like that lollipop looks friendly, slim and smart. Would that be good to stimulate her clit too?

Does your girlfriend like strong vibrations? I use it on my clit also and it always works for me and makes me cum pretty fast. :)

If you want to you can read my review of it here. http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=29338&reviewid=85197#customer_reviews

:)

Thanks very much, good review :) I'm not sure if she likes strong vibrations we've never had a toy before

Thank you :) Well the first speed is very soft and low power so it can also be very gentle as well as powerful. Also it's very slim so perfect if your girlfriend is tight down there or finds it hard to take anything on the big side, Like myself.

With the bullets is it the point tip you place against the tip I'm guessing?

She is tight yeah and can't take anything too big so it sounds ideal :)

Hi curiousme, we have just reviewed the fifty shades of grey restraint kit. I would really recommend it as a starter kit. I would also agree with lollipops suggestion.

Here's the product I mentioned.

As for restrainsts maybe some of lovehoneys cuffs would be better than rope etc, as they're a lot more gentle.

Get something that is not intimidating but also comfortable for her to wear. Maybe something like these:

http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=11684 - if she is into pink these are a cute set that will be a lot more comfortable than rope or metal handcuffs.

Or these:

You don't want to over face her and if a product looks intimidating it may make things more uncomfortable to start with than they need to be.

We got the Tracey Cox bondage tape, (lovehoney do one too) and it was really good fun!! Haven't done a review yet as want to write it from both angles but Wat I liked about it was 1. Can be used a blindfold 2 doesn't get stuck to hair 3 can cut it to size if required 4 can make undies out of it 5 comes in pink and black 6 it's reusable and 7 it's surprisingly strong!!

Really good fun :)

Whatever the choose, enjoy :)

I would recommend a vibrating cock ring. They're really inexpensive and mutually beneficial. They really make your erection bigger and more "textured"; the vibrations run through you and against her; you can remove the bullet (certainly with the bionic cock ring for LH) and use the bullet for any area you like. Not intimidating in any way and lots of fun!
Good luck :-)
