If you can get past the look of the suckers they can be worn during sex. I love the sensation from those. I also have the love honey rings.. they are adjustabke.

I probably should have gone with something with rubber tips because these are pretty unforgiving. I don't have particularly sensitive or big nipples but I had to really try and stretch these as much as I can (which isn't much because I didn't want to bend it out of shape) because otherwise it was too much for me to take. I tried using lube alongside them, but then it became annoying because it got too slippery.

These would probably be a better bet for beginners since I think the intensity can be adjusted more precisely. I wish the Spartacus set was still available, I prefer the look of the dangles and the black colour rubber tips.

I would call them pretty mild, and maybe the loop-stye would suit you better than clips or clamps? Unfortunately, size can be more of an issue with loops. The ones I linked come with two sizes, but they're vastly different.
Otherwise, lots of great advice and links in this thread. I agree on the nipple suckers perhaps being the best place for the sensitive to start. And also agree on finding a highly adjustable set to progress with (soft sillicon tips sound like they would benefit you, too).
I hope you get to test run those suckers soon and that you'll enjoy them! Don't be too discouraged if you can't find a set that are comfortable for you to wear - there are plenty of other toys and techniques to stimulate your nipples during play!
On a side note: these aren't a LH product, though I figure it's okay to suggest them since they're not technically a sex toy or specific; but have you tried some cheap plastic spring-close clothes pegs? Some of them have a pretty light pinch, but decent grip.

Kits Kiki that reviews convinced me to add these to my *too purchase * list! I've never tried loops, just the ones with the silicone tips beginners ones two different brands. I couldn't get them on at first, now l can adjust the ring until there's barely a gap between hehe. Another set ivr got advanced, are tweezers clamps I think they're called. Those things certainly weren't built for beginners. Personally I adore them

and was so disappointed because they don't fit me, I don't think I've got large nipples, they don't open wide enough to fit my nipple :( they have a rubber tip that is clued on at the bottom, I was going to pick it off to allow them to open more, has anyone else had this problem with these clamps?
