Bridal Lingerie Range Refresh 2012 - Suggestions Wanted

Hey Everyone a big sorry from me for not being around lately. I'm here but i'm chained to my desk with lots and lots of projects and because of this rarely get the time to join in the forums. I do peek in but just haven't had the time to join in.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic 2012. Quick question really... i'm looking to refresh our Bridal Lingerie range and wanted to know if you have any likes and dislikes. What would turn you off and what would turn you on? If any of you are married what did you go for for the wedding night... honeymoon? If anyone planning a wedding what would be your choice?

Thanks - Bonny x

Do you know of any? If you can link me to something that comes to mind that would be great! Thanks

I was so pleased to be finally OUT of my constrictive wedding dress I just wanted something simple, beautiful and comfortable to slip on. I went for something in ivory with some transparent parts, so it still felt bridal. I think I spent about £40, but it was worth it.

Some ideas:

I think some romantic long gown night dresses may be the perfect bridal lingerie for me. I already have other types of lingerie but the wedding night should have something innocent, pure and elegant. Lace and sheer fabrics work very well but simple and loose design would be ideal.

Alice's ideas are great!

Found a collection of styles here- http://www.flickr.com/photos/8978263@N08/galleries/72157627589892193">http://www.flickr.com/photos/8978263@N08/galleries/72157627589892193

I think the greek goddess look is stunning and fits this category well too- http://bridesweddingdress.myblog.it/media/02/02/979370171.jpg

This is pretty too- http://www.styleceo.com/images/stores/52/w/womens-jonquil-sheer-robe-12174188

I prefer the traditional look, I think Lovehoney offers other styles in the lingerie range.

Thanking you guys - defo gets us thinking in new ways - I like the longer lines and more floaty options available.. interesting..

Corsetry is a big thing for me so pretty much any design by LaRouge Boutique gets a thumbs up for me. Corsets are a fabulous way of shaping your figure, and also harks back to the pinup and burlesque traditions. Very sexy for a wedding night. Would be great to see LH start a steel boned corset range. The plastic bones just dont do the same job.

I'm due to get married next year and have had a look at your range but unfortunately not much choice for me as I am of the bigger variety, so for me more plus size's. Also love illumine gothich suggestion.

I agree xenia, I never thought there would be much of a diffecne until my OH surprised me with a steel bonesd corset.

I would love to see some burlesque/pin-up styles of wedding lingerie. We looking looking at getting married and i would love something thas is stylish, great for the curver figure and very sexy. Alot of other companies only seem to go as far as a 38C so would be great to see a better range on the market.

Yes, thats sound great, something different, rather than white/cream and frilly!

When i got married i went for a quite a tradtional one and brought a an ivroy satin basque with blue detialing on it i also got the matching thong, garter and lace holdups i like the clours to all match when i'm wearing any outfit of the same colour. the best buy i got for my honeymoon was a goregous little semi transparnet night with lace cups i got a lot of wear out of that nightie.

Ace thanks everyone some great ideas. I will see what we can come up with. I defo like the idea of a fab quality steel boned corset. It's something I've been after for the site for a while. FYI we do have a plus size Wedding & Bridal Lingerie category. It's not a huge range and we will look at adding to it this year. B

Seven 'til Midnight has some a few items, including this babydoll.

There are white versions of the Seven 'til Midnight Perfectly Polished Bustier and Eye Candy Lace Suspender Knickers, which would suit a bridal range.

I do think a beautiful sheer robe or a selection of these in different lengths are a much needed accessory for the bridal range. They complete the look.

There was another that caught my eye but can't seem to find it. It was sheer and mid knee length with a thick satin border. It looked really elegant.

Looking forward to a more extensive plus size range.
