Erectile dysfunction treatments

Since my diagnosis of low testosterone levels I have been prescribed a testosterone replacement gel and Viagra on prescription. This combination is very effective but Viagra has its drawbacks. It needs to be taken on an empty stomach and takes a while to act so this can limit the times when we can have sex. It also makes me feel lightheaded.

I have recently tried Cialis which supposedly is a more effective alternative. It can be taken anytime, acts quickly and produces fewer side effects. The problem is that it doesn't always work for me. I have tried it a number of times, even changing to the higher 20mg tablets but 50% of the time it has little or no effect.

Had anyone any experience of the two treatments or has any comments to make?

We can only hope someday in the future there will be a permanent solution but not likely to happen within the next 5 years.
