Erection Problems

Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me at all.

I have not been with a partner for sometime and I have just started to get involved with a lady who I really care a lot about, she is a swinger and I am possibliy going to join her, she plays safe but I am not worried about that.

Last time we met and played, I had problems keeping an erection, I am not the thinest of people in fact I know I am fat plus I am diabetic so also know that could well be effecting me.

Has anyone out there got any advise, I was looking at the 'viagra' type tablets and creams on here but just don't know whats what.

Anything will be greatly recived.

thank you in advance.

JP

Hey,

We've got a few products which might be of use to you...

China Brush Delay Solution - Although this is a delay solution, some of the ingredients have been known to increase sexual virility and performance.

Venicon For Men Erection Stimulator (4 Capsules) - An alternative to viagra, but they're not for everyone.

If you struggle to keep your erection and want a non-medicinal alterative, you could always try a cock ring to help boost your performance.

Dr Joel Kaplan Erection Enhancing Lasso - Soft, stretchy and fully adjustable so it fits around most men with ease. It has good reviews too.

Since you're diabetic, I would definitely contact your GP before taking anything that affects blood flow, erection, hormones etc. It's always better to be safe than sorry!

thank you for the replies.

I did mention it to my GP last time I met him and at that time my sugar levels were high and said that would be a major factor, I now have it lower and not been with a partner since but notice I am not getting fully erect when playing. God I never thoght I would be saying all this on here, I was never going to buy viagra from on-line as I know buying any drugs is a no no.

Sexylesley, which one of those two is more effective or sis you use both?

Hi. Simple answer is see your GP. They deal with this matter all the time and will help you. Seeking professional help is vital given your other conditions. Do not buy illegal meds off the internet. The 'Viagra' could be dangerous crap and just as dangerously could be the real deal and cause problems with your health (dangerous if you have high blood pressure and other conditions). Take care. ^^ this is good advice, personally I would not suggest you try anything that you need to ingest if you are on meds for the diabieties.

My OH has taken viagra in the past and it didnt work for him, he has also tried Ciallis which did but your GP is the best person to advise you

I agree haveanother word with your gp hun...wish you and your lady well x

As you are obviously well aware your diabetes is an issue here so as other have said your GP needs to know if you have ED issues.

As for a bit of a boost don't underestimate how much a good cock-ring can do. The lasso types such as the 'Big Daddy' one that LH sell are good because they are adjustable (the one-size-fits-all super stretchy ones are no so effective in my experience).

I'm not sure if a cock ring is advisable for people with diabetes, as diabetics can get circulation problems and a cock ring cuts off circulation.

Viagra is quick acting and lasts for up to 4-5 hours. To feel the effect your penis must be stimulated.

Cialis is slightly slower in acting, and you don't get so much flushing as with Viagra. The effects last up to 36 hours. Some people get a headache from it, and others get muscular stiffness. Here again you need to stimulate the penis to feel an effect.

Some people swear by papaverine. It must be injected directly into the penis shortly before sex.

Other solutions include an inflatable implant.

The best solution for you to my mind would be to lose weight and regular intensive exercise. Your equipment will start to function better then. If you have low testosterone your GP might suggest using a testosterone gel to raise testo levels. However she/he will almost certainly insist that you improve your lifestyle as well.

See:-

"Vacuum constriction devices are safe and can be used by patients with ED caused by many conditions, including diabetes".

Vacuum constriction devices involve the use of a cock ring.

Of course the usual precautions regarding the duration of use apply.

Hi jpc123,

Eurycoma Longifolia is an excellent booster product which we find wonderful for erectile disfunction. My partner takes Malasian Ginsing INSTEAD sometimes. They are as good as each other but apparantly if you stay with the same one constantly the body can develop a tolerance to the tablet so it's good to alternate. The dose is one or two capsules (he takes one).

I don't think there is anything harmful in the product providing you don't go "over the top" when taking them. (eg. Giving yourself a day or two respite in between sexual activity)

Everything is herbal as apposed to Viagra which is a chemical cocktail and not safe to take on a regular basis.

Sincerly hoping this helps.

sorry disagree with this unless you are a doctor and know how these will interact with diabieties meds you cannot say they are not harmful. The best advice has to be to talk to your GP or specialist nurse at the diabetic clinic.

H i ghostgirl,

That's a fair comment, i'm not a GP and what you have suggested sounds like a good idea X

thank you all so much for the advice.

I have mentioned to the GP I had a problem but at the time my sugar level was higher than it is now and since then I have not been with my partner, hope to very soon.

I do not intend to take viagra but the herbal stuff interests me and I will look into if I can or cannot take it, and yes I know that being fat is a factor and I am working on it as will help out.

I will be talking more about it with my GP

If you are able to get an erection but struggle to keep it then it could all be down to circulation issues.

I sorted my circulation based erection issues with Ginkgo biloba supplements but as Ginkgo biloba affects (lowers) blood sugar levels you would need to discuss it with your GP before taking it.

Satoshi, thank you for that information. The fact that it lowers the sugar levels is kinda a help but yes I would speak to the GP about anything like that.

Hello and welcome Jpc! Great advice from the folk of the OA. All I wanted to say is I swear by garlic mainly to boost/improve my circulation. Also red berries! Eat as much garlic as you can, use it in your meals etc. Of course you know healthy eating, excersize will help too fella! Best of luck :) SG

Sorry for jumping on this thread, but I could not find a way to start one of my own.

I am 65 and have been married for 45 years.

I suffered a heart attach three years ago and had a stint inserted.

I have been on blood pressure medications as well as meds for collesteral.

I purchased a vaccum pump a few days ago and have been using it every day. While I have had some results, I have also had some problems I hope this forum can assist me with.

I understand the pump works best when it is used on a reasonable erect penis.I can only achieve an erection when I view porn online. While I very much love my wife, and chose the pump in the hopes that it would help me to better serve her, I cannot seem to get an erection through any stimulation that she can provide. Obviously this is a concern because to tell her that she cannot do what websites can, would not improve either of our situations. I have been using the pump for about ten days now and over the last few days have attempted to provide for her needs. I have used the pump to get an erection of about 6 1/4" but when I used the penis ring and remove the pump I immediatly drop in both length and girth to a level that will not support insertion.

Can someone provide insight into what I can try to return my penis to a usable device.

I have tried all the major brands of ED medications. I have also sought medical assistance, but short of penis implants they do not seem to have a good answer. I have also been tested for testosterone levels and they are low, (just over 100) however testosterone replacement medications have not been successful.

I am becoming very desperate for some help.

Thanks for any advise anyone can offer.

read up about yohimbine, it's got a good reputation and you can just buy them online or in holland and barratts

But do you know how it reacts with the combination of meds that slotsavegas is taking?

The best advice I can give is to talk to your GP or specialist. Personally I would suggest that you take your wife with you so she is part of finding a solution that works for both of you.

xGGx

Interacts with MAOI's, tricyclics, stimulants, and blood pressure meds. Yohimbine can also be used for blood pressure, but when both taken together it might stop the meds from working. Mention it to your doctor when you go and see what they say about you specifically. Hope you get it sorted :)

The doctor I mentioned going to earlier was a urologist. He was the one that discovered the low testosterone.

My wife did go with me to a followup visit. At that time the doctor diid suggest that she could assist me either through manual stimulation or oral. To her credit she did try the manual stimulation but that did not have much impact. She has never accepted oral stimulation either as the receiver or giver, and would not attempt that.

My current doctor as well as the urologist suggested the penis pump/cock ring. These do provide some success while the pump is active, but quickly returns to a flacid state when the vacuum is removed. Does anyone have a better idea for keeping a rigid penis long enough to achieve a satisfactory ejaculation ?
